Title: The 3 Days a Week Full Body Routines of Yesteryear

Hi! When did bodybuilders leave the 3 days/full body routines for split routines? 1960's or earlier? I've always wondered when the break was made and who led the way. Also, what prominent builders did full body routines? Any 'secrets' to how they made the most of them? Thanks!
