Hey fellas. I'm all natural all the time and training hard. I usually will do two protein supplements a day at about 45g each. One is early in the day and one is directly after working out.
Recently, after my early supplement, I get some gastrointestinal discomfort for a little while. Anyone have this problem, or have any ideas about it? I take my protein with water, not milk btw.
This discomfort DOES NOT occur with my after work out supplement.

happens to me also. But for me its mostly nausia. Anything more than a small bowl of Kashi cereal, doesnt sit well.. The majority of my calories and protein come after my workout. So i dont start slamming the protein untill 1230pm or so. I just cant eat a lot in the am.

What kind of protein are you taking?

syntha-6. And I love it btw...it tastes awesome and dissolves really well in water. It's supposed to be more time-released.

IT just takes time to get your gut bacteria used to it. I can take ON whey with no problems but if I ever switch to a different brand, I get upset stomach and fart like a mother fucker for a few days til I'm used to the new stuff. Just like dogs and switching their food and them shitting all over the carpet, same shit applies to people. Especially if you eat a typical CLEAN diet.

true, i just switched to the stuff...
Hope your right.

If you take it on a completely empty stomach that could certainly be the problem. Also make sure you whey is micronized, if not that is what your problem is. I used to take creatine that wasn't micronized and I thought I was going to throw up after every drink.
