stupid idea, yes or no? ive gained 28 lbs in a month a half and went from a 12% body fat to a 15-16% body fat. Im currently doing a 16 week cycle doing a high calorie, high protein, decent amount of low glycemic carbs. Seems I have ALOT more disciplined doing a cutter.

not sure exactly what you are asking but going up 28lbs and 4% bodyfat in that amount of time is too much. im sure some is water retention from whatever cycle you are on but you should look to make some adjustments in your diet.
