What?? This is the most stupid thing i ever read here...

How old is your son? Is he unable to post here himself? Where do you buy muscle milk, i bet there are plenty of other protein powders available there...

Just try out something until you find something you like.

I agree it is as close to a real milk shake you can get.
Chocolate, Banana cream, Orange all by Cytosport are amazing.
Double chocolate by Optimim Nutrition is also very good.
Syntha-6 by BSN is one of the best tasting shakes as well, chocolate and Mocha.

cosign on muscle milk being the best tasting.  the choc. mm in a blender with some ice, banana, tbs of natural peanutbutter, is awsome.

check your sons diet also.  protein powders are a great help but make sure he's getting in his solid meals too.

protein powders are low in calories.
if your son wants to put on weight he needs more calories.

I agree....try finding a weight/mass gaining product that is going to provide him more calories and carbohydrates than just a regular protein powder.  BSN's True-Mass is a solid product (protein blend, 60g protein, 800 calories, and 70 carbs) that tastes very good.

Only negative to this is that if your son didnt like Muscle Milk....he probably won't like much.

syntha 6 from bsn is awesome. the cookies and cream is fucking fantastic. you could also try buying the protein puddings that are available.

there are also supplementsthat come in "tasteless" form. you could try getting those, and mixing them with a chocolate, strawberry, or vanilla nesquick powder or somehting like that.

Just add 1 lg bowl of cooked oatmeal and honey, and a couple of whole eggs to his diet twice a day.

This will add around 1000 quality kcals a day to his diet, and this is nutrition that will not be wasted down the toilet, and at about 1/5 cost of 2 shakes a day.

If your son doesn't like oatmeal and eggs, then kill him.

Well, he doesn't like muscle milk...

I wonder if killing him is a little harsh, but you should at least consider torturing him a bit.

Drink your muscle milk son, or next time i will buy celltech.  :-X :-X :-X :-X :-X :-X

I'm guessing your son is a teenager, since you're on here posting for him.  But at that age, all he needs is extra calories and protein.  If he doesn't like the shakes, then I'd recommend PROMAX BARS!  They're about as cheap as protein bars get, and have 20 grams of protein in each.  They're a bit high in sugar, but if you've got a young hardgainer on your hands, then that won't hurt him at all.  The Cookies & Cream flavor tastes like a Little Debbie snack!

Beware: the chocolate peanutbutter flavor is nasty!  Pretty much all the others are good though.

I agree with many of the posts above.

First off your son should be eating a lot more whole food meals. If he isn't eating right no supplement/weight gainer in the world is going to make up for that. Chances are if he doesn't like Muscle Milk he is a pretty picky eater as well, as Muscle Milk is definitely one of the better tasting shakes.

My suggestion is True Mass by BSN. More of a premium gainer but it does have a great taste and mixes well. I guess though if he doesn't like Muscle Milk maybe he is out of luck as, like everyone else on there said, that is one of the best.

Maybe try a few flavours of Muscle Milk, they have a ton of different ones?

When these go on sale, they're about a buck apiece.  I have to disagree with you on the Cookies & Cream though  :-X :-X :-X  Nasty :P
