Was a top amateur in the 1960's. Wow. How many pro BB's today can compare?

Show me pictures of today's BB's with better proportions, tight-waist and shoulder-to-waist ratio. Seriously.
If they're more muscular but have guts, they aren't better.

so you prefer haislop's physique to today's.
all that proves is that bbing is subjective but, like it or not, physiques today are far more developed and better conditioned. haislop would bite the dust big time on an olympia stage.
i don't like the gut thing either but, unless they start marking it down, it's not going to change.

Evolution of bbing and "progress" have dictated that the physiques can't remain "Ironage" pleasing anymore, but a few can still compare nowadays...
I disagree with the stopping in the 60's thing, a lot of guys looked better than him in the 70's, 80's and 90's.

Haislop had a great physique many would love to emulate, but wouldn't place in the Nats, never mind the O.
