"5 miles in 20-30 mins"
lol
why is that so hard to believe?
it is a requirement in the u.s army to do 5 miles in around that amount of time.

That's in the 4 min mile range. Incredible? ???

incredible at 20 minutes for sure..he'd be lapping the ethiopian world record holder!
even 30 minutes is pretty handy for what is 8000m. much more like it. 3.5 minutes per km is very possible = 28minutes.

Yes. Very fast. Possibly lie.Or maybe he can do it. Nobody knows but him.
When i was 16, i was a swimming competitor and run 1500m 4 minutes 45 seconds and i was one of the fastest guy in my high school. And I was 62kg skinny. Eryk is not so skinny ;D

Anyone who thinks that guy can run close to a 4 minute mile on a daily basis is naive as hell.

Please tell me you are joking.

he meant the men in black, they are required to accomplish this feat in case they have to run at ultra fast speeds during combat.
everyone in the army can do it, its commonplace, they move at the speed of light.

he's looking good, of course my first thought when I saw him was that he REALLY needs to up the dosages to be competitive...
but then he said he's not willing to "play by the big boy's rules" ;D
Good for him ;)

5 miles in 30 minutes = 6 minutes a mile. Very possible if you are in shape. For a bodybuilder though, that is way strange, but for runners, soccer players, it is no problem.

agree completely....for someone over 200 lbs at 5'4 to run that much that fast would be astonishing. I honestley don't know why someone would even want to subject themselves to that kind of cardio when running that hard for that long would surely burn muscle. But, I could be wrong.

Thats what i wanted to say.

why would he want to do that anyway it would burn muscle ???
weird shit.
-
He's 37? Looks 10 years younger than that. I'm taking up running ;)

You didn't factor in that he's a midget with basically a very, very short stride. It takes twice as much work for him to run half the distance. I can just see his short little legs pumping as fast as they can for a 10 minute mile...LOL.

no its not. the physical test you take in the army is a 2 mile run. and the time alloted to finish it gets longer as you get older.

"5 miles in 20-30 mins"
lol
It's VERY possible, most nights I will walk 5 miles in just about an hour, if he's running, he would probably cut that time in half!
-
guy has a killer physique! jealous for sure, and I like his out look.
-
i'm sure he's estimating the time he runs and the distance. What kind of jackass would know exactly, unless they compete in running.

add the ability to divide something else getbiggers lack
5 miles in 20 minutes is 5 consecutive 4 minute miles. Fastest mile time ever is 3:46 about. Clearly, it is not outrageous to assume there are few people on this planet who could run 5 4 minute miles.. if any
5 miles in 30 minutes is 5 consecutive 6 min. miles. While this possible, it is only possible for someone at the top of their running game. This is NO EASY feat coming from someone who used to run cross country. I used to easily run two miles in under 12 minutes (two sub 6 miles) and I definitely could not run 5 consecutive 6 min miles.
And I googled the Army requirements for a RANGER -- I'm sure tougher requirements than the normal army cannon fodder
2 mile run in running shoes in 15:12 minutes or less. That's 7minutes 36 seconds a mile. Far cry from what Bui is doing.
