You're the man big Ed! Glad to see you're still hitting the iron. I'm a big fan. Would you consider doing the Master's Olympia if they bought it back?
-

Thank you for the warm welcome . . . I think I'll keep the mustache for now, but I'll keep your fairly accurate observation in mind. ;D

the moustache is a source of power, how do you think he'd even be holding those 150's at his age without it?

He looks pretty manly with that stache.
Some people can pull it off while others can't.

What's wrong? Don't want to hear about your man crush doing homo-erotic posing or worse for Joey and Benny boy?

Ed can you recommend something for poser bodybuilding wannabee like Scott Markey?
He is very insecure and could use some tips from you.
He lacks chest real bad!
Oh also is it true that Arnold use to train low volume during offseason and off drugs?
Did Arnold only start taking the two months leading up to competition?
Can you tell us some bedtime stories about the 1970's?
Ed you are a legend please reply.

Ron - give Ed his stars!!! ;D
-
hey ed
post some recent photos of you
-
Offcourse you can ::)
-
If this is Ed, I'd like to hear his take on current drug regimines versus what was used when he competed. I'm sure he knows Arnold's drug cycles when he competed. So, compare Arnold and Ed's drug cycles versus what he does now and what current pros use now. Any thoughts on this gh15?

Great to have another ledgen on here. Welcome!
I met you 30 years ago while I was training at Bill Pearls gym in Pasadena, I was 16 then and was doing my first contest, Bill was helping me with my posing at his house and you were there as well and gave my some instruction that I never forgot and applied them to my future shows. I never lost getting the "best poser" trophy (when they still had awards for that). Thanks.

No, I was in the film too very briefly. All of us guys went and filmed Stay Hungry first and then after it was done we set about to raise money to finish the Pumping Iron movie. One way we did that was by staging a posing exhibition with me, Arnold and Zane at the Whitney Museum in New York City.
Thanks again to everybody that's been so welcoming towards me here today.
I'm down in Texas now at the Europa show Expo. You can come by and meet me if you live in the area. I'll be here tomorrow at the Europa Sports Nutrition booth. Make sure to mention that you're a member of the forum here.
I'll try to post some additional current photos of myself when I return home to California.
I'm back to training on a six day per week double split at age 73. It's just like the routine that Arnold and I did together back in 1975. It feels great.
All the best
Ed

Semeneatse take note of this thread. This is what genetics, hard work, and dbol do for a real motivated individual.

Gotta be honest, if they ever did a live action Simpsons...Ed would make a GREAT Ned Flanders. Keep the stache!!
-
Ed, are you embarrassed you didn't sport a gut which is the hallmark of a bodybuilder? 8)
-
Gullible bunch
Agreed.
If it is Ed, I am sorry, however, I need more proof than him appearing on GetBig.
-
Hope to see some of you today in Texas. I had the chance to spend some time with Bob C. yesterday at the Expo.
Again thanks for the welcome here. When I started, at the late age of 33, in my first local show, I could never have imagined that I'd become successful enough in the sport that one day folks would think that I wasn't really me when I showed up somewhere - like the fellows that apparently think I'm the fake Ed Corney here at GetBig. ;D
Again, please come by and say hello today, if you get the chance - or write to me directly at info@EdCorney.net - But I won't be able to get to that email until I return to California.
All the best. Got to go.
Ed
-
do you bodybuild?
-
Hey Mr Corney,
can you teach us how to pose?
The legend is here! Glad to see you are still going strong and looking good!
They need your help, Ed. Posing is in a terrible state these days.
-
Gullible bunch
And you are a cynical bunch. It takes an internet faker to suspect and internet faker. I'm sure you and SF know a thing or two about misrepresenting yourself on a forum.
If it isn't Mr. C then this thread will still be a tribute to someone who has truly accomplished something in this sport.
-
hey Ed what do you think of "men" with ugly ass physiques like Dave Pulcinella who keep pining away at a thing that they are totally unsuited for?
-

Easy there SF, it's only Getbig! ;)
To answer your question...it's better than someone who never discovers his limits using whatever he's been given. Better than someone who never tries to do something exceptional with his life no matter how it turns out. I'm not saying that's YOU SF, I'm just trying to help you understand someone like Dave. SF, have you SEEN the RTBs? I think you would be surprised...and possibly inspired. There's more to life than doing only what you are 100% sure you can accomplish.

hahahahaha, like i said before Dave's physique is just plain ugly, nice guy though.
-
Ed, I have a moustache too. they are the best do not shave yours. We must preserve the greatest symbol of masculinity..It has taken some hits with Borat and Earle but dont give in. We cannot give in to the whimpy feminized, sensitized, submissive identities that men exhibit today in order to find acceptance from today's more powerfull women. You are a real man for keeping you stache all these years.
Moustachioed is the way to Go.

Bro, my greatest symbol of my masculinity is my penis. I guess if you don't have a penis a moustache works....j/k

Thanks Shawn. It's about time I received proper recognition for my accomplishments.

Hey you fuckin mustard seed!! Your mother and I raised you better than that. You better show me some respect, I told your mother the best part of you ran down her leg, I guess I shouldn't have pulled out so quickly.
......That's the only response I you get from me Fatty McGee. You no longer exist......

LMAO-sf made the guy mltdwn with less than a sentence!
-
hahahahaha, like i said before Dave's physique is just plain ugly, nice guy though.
And I got avoidance, which is as good as meltdown to me.
SF, have you never been so passionate about something that you would do it no matter what anyone said and no matter what the odds of you "winning"?
-

24 hours later...no response.
Guess you've never felt that passion. Maybe someday.
In the meantime, keep those insults coming. That's important work you're doing.
