Do you think if you've got better cardiovascular health you would sweat less just normally during the day?
For some reason I seem to sweat abit more than most people. I was thinking maybe if I start doing more cardio to get fitter it may help. But when I used to be able to run for ages without tiring I was still a sweaty bastard.
Maybe I sweat more caus my hair is really thick, and got abit of a mullet goin so this would trap heat since apparently 70% of bodyheat is lost through the head. ???
Any suggestions?

You probably sweat slightly less when in shape because your body works less in any state including a slower heartrate, but the overwhelming trend is your natural predisposition to either sweat or not. If you sweat a lot to begin with, it's not going to change markedly.
Little things will improve comfort: shorter hair, looser, lighter clothes, fan/circulation, hankerchiefs/towels available, etc.

pumpster's on the ball... more then anything else genetics influence how much you sweat. i personally weat more than most, i am now at peace with it, but it you're not you can actually see your doctor, there are treatments out there to help you sweat less.

Thanks guys. :) I might see the doctor about it sometime in the future if it keeps pissing me off, but in the end its not really a big deal.

genetics play a part, and so does a high carb diet. Your metabolism is thru the roof on a high carb diet, and you will sweat more

Thanks. I did notice one day when I was eating way more carbs than usual I sweated more. I'll try a low carb diet for awhile and see how that goes. :)

yea, but most of the time I sweat even when I don't feel very hot. It's like my bodie's just over-sensitive to small changes in temperature.

this is no joke: have you tried hypnosis?
as for being oversensitive, i'm sure pumpster can relate

No I haven't but I've thought about it. I don't really know of any hypnotists though. :-\
Is there such a thing as 'self hypnosis'?

Like many people said above its in your genes, the genetic term for excessive sweating is hyperhidrosis. You have an overactive sympathetic nervous system. This just means there is alot of sweat glands in an area (groin area, armpits, palms, feet, back and face) I have it, I start sweating as soon as I get out of the shower and its really embarrassing sometimes. All my shirts are dark or white because I really don't want to wear a light colored shirt and have sweat stains all over. Some of the benefits tho are that you do have a faster metabolism than others so some people who have hyperhidrosis will have less fat than most people. There is worse though one lady had it who went to my doctors office and she had her hand out with her palm facing the floor and she was drip sweating. I know alot of it is mental thought like the person said above it will be less out of hand if you make peace with it. Its kind of like getting nervous because you don't want to sweat and then you start sweating and get more nervous and end up sweating even more. Do you smoke or drink alot of caffeine?

No, I don't smoke or drink anything with caffeine in it. But the parts that I bolded seem very true for me, especially that part about getting nervous about sweating which then makes me sweat more.
