this guy doesn't, he must train with Hossein Rezazedah. ::)
205kg/451lb isn't so much. You could know it if you had lifted anything but your cholesterol, you stupid child. I got owned once by the guy, who come to me when I was squatting, and ask if he could use the barbell while I was resting. I say yes, of course, and that motherfuc*ker start to do presses with the weight I was using to squat, something like 150kg/330lb. It was my first year of training, and he win our national BB:ing contest in that same year, so I didn't feel so stupid after that. Anyway, it is just same to me what some fat brat believes or not, so why don't you go and get some pump in that "better" hand; maybe all that wanking make you burn some calories, and you will be able to carry your fat ass to the gym.
-
Not on Getbig! Just last week I saw <insert random gym rat name here> warm up with 405 for 10 on bnp before jumping to 650 for a set of 5.

hahahhaa, it's always the same routine with these clowns "1,650 pounds is nothing for a full squat, you would know that if you ever lifted weights instead of eating potato chips you fat fucck, if i ever find you i'm gonna kill you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!! get off your fat ass and get tot he gym and maybe you can bench 700 for 15 like me!!!!" ;D
-
Yes and if I was doing it regularly I would not be here wasting time with all you bozos... ;D
-
Uhhh......yeah.
-
Ridiculous question. 450 behind the neck seated press?? I would go as far as saying it's rarely even done on this planet.
Let's be real here, 4 plates and a 25. That is something very few people can do. anyone who lifts weights would no that.
-
Jimmy Iron Bull Pellechia could do 600+ lb skull crushers and 150lb db curls each for 8-10 reps. I bet in his prime he could have done that lift.

exactly but apparently in "greatfinn's" gym it's done all the time, those guys must drink a lot of milk. ::)

yeah with three guys on each side of the bar and three guys in the middle pulling like he always did.

Too funny. This place makes me feel like the most honest guy on Earth.
Seriously people should stop and think about what they are saying. That's loading the bar with 4 plates and a 25 on each side. Then lifting that with your shoulders. Just think about that.

hahahahaha, in everyday life you rarely see people squatting or deadlifting 455 let alone doing seated presses behind the neck with it, these guys must have a secret underground society where everyone is 350 ripped at 5'9" and has to bench 700, squat and deadlift 1000 for reps just to be accepted to the gym. ::)

True. But apparently he was 40-years old when those picture were taken. That's an amazing condition at his age.

First of all, that has happened long before you was born, something like 1988-89, so you cannot understand it. Furthermore, we are speaking about a nation of 5 million people, which has given more WSM winners to the world than USA, so when you train with the best, you get the best results. Very simple, but too difficult to you to understand because you never have open a door of the gym. That guy, J Leino was 6'th after Samir Bannout in his first GP, so we doesn't talk any internet tough guy like you think you are, but the athlete who has accomplish more than most of us could ever have.
http://www.musclememory.com/show.php?a=Leino,+Jari (http://www.musclememory.com/show.php?a=Leino,+Jari)
He win the Strongest man of Finland title at -91, was 8'th in finnish GP at -92. You can buy his training video (VHS) from this web shop. http://kauppa.jraty.fi/PublishedService?file=page&pageID=9&itemcode=157 (http://kauppa.jraty.fi/PublishedService?file=page&pageID=9&itemcode=157) If you can get somebody to help you to use google, you find out that there is plenty of modern day athletes who has done that, Pudi is one of them...so, you little wanker, what next? You put up more fake pictures of yourself and claim that you are more than 13 years old?

hahahhaa, another meltdown by this clown, i was born in 1972 by the way.
-
hahahahahahhaaa, this is the guy who supposedly pressed 450 behind the neck? hahahaha, he must have magically levitated it then because those arms look no bigger than 18 inches and he looks capable of no better than 250 behind the neck for a few reps, i'm gonna file this one in the bullshit file.
-
Monster weight for sure
-
450 is heavy fuggin weight, it don't matter if your pushing it or pulling it, it's heavy as fcuk.
-
behind the neck presses above 405 are insane.
Thats a lift i did well on, 245 when i was 19-20 natural. I dont do them anymore because they are too easy to tear a rotator cuff on, i just incline bench for shoulders at this point.

even 245 is good weight for strict seated presses behind the neck and believable to get to with some work but this clown says that his made up hero did 450 seated and then said that it wasn't much. ::)

hahahaha! i bet that not even 1 % of this board can do seated presses with 225lbs.

I was about to say. A 225 seated military is big to me. I can't imagine something over 315 or hell even 405. That's more than most people will ever bench! :o How long did it tkae you to build up to 365 ss?! ???

LOL
I'd shit my pants to see that. I used to do 315 for a few sets of 6 on the smith back in the day. Now 225 is hard to get even 8. After my shoulder injury, 2 wheels has about the same effect as 12 does to me. As in OH SHIT! How do you do them to keep them from hurting your shoulders wiht that kind of weight?
I posted a couple vids btw..I'm waiting on you to own my ass. ;D

well i can get up to 315 now. 365 was on a decent cycle but shoulders is my bread and butter..where are these vids?
-
Oh. Yeah juiced or not that's still sickening. I've never seen anyone in my gym go over 2 plates and that was on the smith! What did your training routine look like to get there? All PL type rep schemes?
they're lower down the gossip page.

yeah saw the vids good lifts....for me i did a lot of heavy db presses on shoulders and incline hell when i'm at my strongest i could incline more then i can flat :-\ me and the mod "sl dubbs" from the P/L board use to do shoulders twice a week with another guy just as a competiton to see who could do the most. he use to get 275 for reps and i could get 315 for 8 but are other buddy could get 365 behind the neck but he was 330lbs.

bullshit on Cormier.

Yeah, thats my point ;D

A 450 Lb. seated press behind the neck is nothing short of incredible. Anyone that can do that kind of weight is a uniquely strong individual-------Lots of stress on the rotator cuffs---------still quite incredible !!!! :o
-
this guy doesn't, he must train with Hossein Rezazedah. ::)
Ha ha a 450lb press behind the neck!? That's a touch over 200kg! I've never seen anyone do that, most people can't squat that!
Obviously I can do it, but in my defence I have only been training for one week and have 2 rotator cuff injuries, give me another week and im aiming for 550lb. :P

Ahh, Mister WankALot? Hello again...I start to feel that this isn't any BodyBuilding forum, but some kind of disney channel or mickey fuc*king mouse club?!? 245lb for seated press behind the neck is good? For some teenager perhaps, but adults need more iron. 245lb is just under 112 kilos, and they usually use 100 kg for rep competition in our Strongest man of the gym- contests. Last year winner did 38 reps with that. Your problem is again that you don't have any real experience about lifting, so you don't have a clue what you are talking about. In real world there is plenty of guys who use pair of 80kg dumbbells for shoulder presses, even if they doesn't exist in your virtual world. Pull your head out from your ass and try lifting, so you have something to talk about...

hahahahaha, listen to this clown, another guy who trains at a gym where every guy behind the neck presses 405 for reps and presses 175 pound db's for reps. ::)

Exactly!

Exactly!
be honest Keith exactly how many guys were behind the neck pressing 405 at that gym in Hawaii? just for the recrd i totally believe that you could do it but i just don't think that it's that common, i knew a guy who trained at an old gym who totalled 2400 on the powerlifts and benched 650 a few times with a shirt and even he couldn't do that.

hahahahhaa, exactly, he seems to think that every other guy who trains presses 450 behind the neck for reps and reps out a pair of 175 pound dumbbells for shoulders. ::)
-
isn't there a youtube video of Levrone doing this on a smith machine?
-
isn't there a youtube video of Levrone doing this on a smith machine?
it was 4 plates on the Smith and he came down to a little past the top of his head for like 4 reps, so something like 370 for 4 little bit better than half reps.
-
Do these guys ( finn ) really think we're that stupid? People work their asses off to bench press that much, and never make it. Come on now. And we're not talking 1/2 inch reps either :-*

Well....yes. And you guys seem to make it so fu*ckin easy to us, I don't know why. Something to do with the fact, that you really are stupids? ;D

I think that is a lot of weight but, what is it suppose to do for you?

I have never said it was common for someone to do that. And I only could do it a few times. In the front would be a different story though. What I am frustrated about is how you think I am making up the Joe Onasai story. I wish I knew exactly how to get a copy of that video cause I would post it in a minute. But, I don't think about it or really care that much. I saw it as did many thousands of others who wee watching tv at time. 405 is an unreal weight and I doubt there are maybe 2 or 3 in the whole state here. I know many guys who bench over 600 lbs. and could barely do 315 for reps on the BNP. Means nothing unless they do that lift a lot. Last time I checked powerlifters train in the squat, bench and deadlift. I see that many doing BNP at all. I used to do them twice a week. I have also seen and armwrestled many guys who could out lift me in every lift. They didn't last 1/2 a second on the table with me. So unless you do the lifts then I don't see how you can do that kind of weight

That is just the point which these little kids doesn't understand: It isn't something which guys do all the time, but some few guys are capable to do it some times. For Leino, it cost the shoulder, meaning that his career was ended by shoulder injuries few years later. There still is a bunch of guys who are a capable lift weights like that, but because it has high risk involved, and it doesn't do so much good for your muscles, it is somewhat futile thing to do. Anyway, Leino has good sense of humour, and when interviewer ask him: "how do you manage to press 450 lb behind your neck for four reps? " Leino told him "because I first do ten reps with 500lb... " ;D
