Well, three weeks left to go, and Chris Cormier is speeding full steam ahead with his preparations for the Montreal Pro. Working out with Robby Robinson, training with Charles Glass, can Chris Cormier come back in great shape to win the Montreal Pro?
The answer is yes. We quickly all forget what a great physique Chris has when he is truly ready, truly training correctly, and not cheating on his diet. This time, the Real Deal looks to be ready.
Of course, if Johnnie Jackson, Troy Alves and others have anything to say about it, this won't happen. But I get this feeling that Chris is going to dominate this show....
We shall see...

An embarassed and motivated QT is the scariest man in the show.
Silvio should show up for kicks and surprise everyone.

whats this 'we' stuff....I never forgot about his potential!!!

Jae when is that first pic from, that looks like an all time best cormier.
-
As long as Troy doesn't show up in the shape he was at the 2006 Olympia.
He was so chisled and perfect, it was scary.
I predict those two are fighting for top spots.
JOJ, Quincy and Darrem fighting for 3rd.
Kamali somewhere between 6th and 10th...depending.
Darkhorses: Daniele Seccarrecia & Mike Asiedu to break into top 10!

i dont understand how this show is not getting more attention. Its an awesome lineup!!! i wish there was a webcast
-
Cormier = one of the most gifted bodybuilder
QT = ugly structure, ugly physique...

Yes, the Italian guy Daniele (Saccarrecci spelling?) is big and impressive.

its justa shame that the guy starts applying himself at this late stage 42 if he trained with this much dedication years ago, he would have won an olympia, but he didnt, and the Os the only show that counts, and if he makes top 6 its still not even a morale victory.

Umm no, it doesn't

Dude's back is soft and lacks detail. Take a look at Cormier's back versus Cutler's, that there is back detail (and Cutler should have lost that Arnold)

Don't make me kick your ass "Steven" !
;D
honnestly tho, he looked great at the 2005 Ironman but I don't remember him looking shredded after that show ( and he still had soft hams at that show)

That was probably his best showing ever, could have won it but the lineup wasn't exactly stacked either.

Montreal is easily Chris' show. The only thing Chris has ever needed was ripped hamstrings and glutes. If he has that then he is Top 3 Mr. Olympia or dare I say the winner if Ronnie is off a bit?
-
I doubt it. He will make top 3, though.
-
If Chris is on come MrO it will be him or Victor for 3rd.
-
Is Cormier doing any guest posing leading up to the montreal pro?

He comes in too soft. Not really a threat. His best years are behind him now.
-
His only problem is going to be whether or not he comes in shape especially in the Hamstring dept.
Other than that, the sport has not progressed past him in the last two years.
He is in control of his destiny of getting back on track and into the the Olympia again.
Easily top 6 if he hits his condition right but Montreal & Atl City Lineups will not be reflective of the Olympia Line Up where the Rubber Hits the Road.
Time will tell and the clock is ticking............... :-\

you see! Troy looked great here!
given he wasnt 100% in the glutes / hams area, so what...
it's not the olympia...MTL pro..JOJ won with no calves and narrow legs....
you dont have to be THAT astounding to win that show...
also if Cormier misses his mark (which he often did, but i doubt he will this time)
Troy is the guy who could slip past him.
-
Ok "Colossus" (Oh brother what kind of name is that ?!)
you win for this time, he looks incredible in those pics :o

He seems to be very determined and serious about this, he knows the clock is ticking and he doesn't have much time left to be a top competitor. Having said that his conditioning shouldn't be a problem as I don't see him cheating much on his pre contest diet, the big question here is will he regain the size and density he once showed. If he still shows the muscle maturity of someone with as many years BBing as he has he will win this shows and place high in the Olympia. He has the shape, symmetry and aesthetics to compare with anyone in this game and come out on top.

He are some shots of Troy in his best shape to date IMO, The 2005 IronMan Pro.

See how soft he looks next to Gus in that last pic
and that was his best condition ever
-
i was happy he was gone. i wish he would have retired for good.
-
I saw and spoke with Chris earlier today at Gold's Venice. He's big, he's very big. Waist is still tight, zero distention. Skin is very tight everywhere, he's vascular but not particularly hard. He still has 19 days so... tough to say.
I wish him luck.
