Title: Lee Priest
Post by: theworm on August 21, 2007, 04:45:05 PM
Lee has always been relatively hard.  even some of his off season pics he is pretty lean with no water bloat.  Reason: no test cycles.

All you guys bash me for the no test cycles, but Lee has had pretty good results. my point, every cycle does not NEED test... ;)

I dont really think you can know for sure that he has never done any test cycles.  I think he has even posted here on getbig some of the stuff he used and i think it included test, but I could be wrong.

Nice theory but only Lee knows what Lee takes. I'd be willing to bet he uses some form of Test.

A cycle without test is quite simply not as good as a cycle with it when it comes to gaining strength and mass.  If you would like to speak on an intelligent chemical and biological level and argue this fact I'd be more than willing, but if your best "evidence" is hersey that one body builder didn't take it then I'm not going to waste my time.

There are certainly some cycles that make sense to take without test depending on your goal with that cycle, but to never take test is simply foolish in the world of scheduled performance enhancers.

Lee Priest lean and hard in the off-season? I'm not taking anything away from him but that description does not fit Lee at all...he is well known for getting very large and smooth in the off-season...after all, isn't he KFC's national spokesman, lol.

A cycle without test means   NO SEX DRIVE, complete shutdown... believe me, I know from personal experience, when I was young and stupid enough to try a winny/anavar/tren cycle.. sure I looked unreal and was shredded but couldn't get it up to save my life.

There's a reason every Vet cycles with test as a base.

I did the same thing , not cycle , but a cycle with out test. Never again. TEST MAKES YOU A MAN. I think pre contest cutting test out is ok , but even then I would use test prop.

after reading Paulumbos article in a MD a few months back, I am starting to change my opinion.  he is right, at least testosterone is a naturally occuring hormone in the body, so it may be safer than the other synthetic compounds.  Also, add to it that its effective and one of the cheapest around, it makes it highly favorable.  I think the big misconceptions are that test just bloats you up and you lose all the gains once off.  but i think that is one of the biggest myths of steroids...

Umm....he has never been known for being lean and hard in the off season. Had him out a couple times for an appearance and he autographed a box of KFC for me (after 3 trips that day to the drive thru). I love Lee but bro, need to get your facts straight first. You will never know exactly what he or any other pro uses unless you have that conversation with him in person. Does this look lean and hard??

B.B. Great Pic of Lee @ Max bulk.   More of the young guys (Including "Naturals")

Not sure what happened to the box. It probably got stinky from the grease remains and we tossed it. That was in 2000 or '99, long ago.

You actually think he drank non fat milk with deep fried chicken?? Probably was 2%!

Lee is lying.

He's used everything the other IFBB pros have used, albeit maybe in lower doses, but he still uses everything they use.

Have you seen him in the off-season?

He's holding more water than a pregnant woman.

You haven't seen that pic of him binging on KFC have you?

We talk about the AAS here, but when it comes to dieting (or lack of), Lee IS the Darkside.

During the off-season, he's off the chain.

Feeding him MUST be in all his agreements?

He's off the wall. He brings a lot of personality to BBing. To bad the vindictive Muthas at IFBB central want to punish him for pointing out - There's no way to even pay for your BBing, Ahem... Necessities (Like Chicken)

I think Guys like Lee and D. Rodman realize they need to stick out in the crowd.
Im not into Basketball, but almost anyone knows Rodman. Being over The Top makes PPL recognize you.
I dont think Lee really gives a crap anyway. Hopefully he's still able to pull a decent living out of it, regardless of the IFBB.

Very true. But I really wonder what he's going to do after bodybuilding.

I just think the tat on the face is too far (this coming from a guy with seven tats). It's like saying "how can I make myself less employable?".

I dont know, I wonder how much cash a guy like him can round up by various ways. He is very popular.
Also, he's been at it for a long time. He must be one of the longest competitors left.
So, The Clock was running anyway regardless of the political issue w/  the IFBB.
He may have felt he had not much to lose. I agree w/  him, the competitors get screwed. Look how much the Magazine empire has made over time from the pros! ::)

You might be surprised how much a guy like him can pull in... Contest winnings dont support more than a couple guys.  Its all about Business, marketing yourself.

True. But if you think about it sounds like a lot of money. Let's say somewhere in the neighborhood of 150K+ for ten years or so (maybe more some years maybe less). However, when it's over what happens? You've spent money on toys & such but has any been invested? If not what do you do? Especially if you've got no other experience &/or no education (note: I'm not calling Lee dumb or anything).

Yup. A person spends freely when it flows. I sure did when I was single. I hope he's in good shape financialy.
BBing aint Football or basketball. ANd even them rich boys can blow it all.

But then, some of out "finance experts" also blow it. Our economy has some ugly stuff going down right now.
ANd I think its gonna get worse before it gets better. A lot of PPL spent way more'n they had, or ought to.

Don't know if I have heard a more truer quote. It's truly amazinghow people that have money spend it the way they do, I sit here as many do and struggle to make ends meet to make sure my family lives comfortably.

What will always blow me away is how we pay a man/women millions of dollars to play a sport. And then there is the people who save lives, police, firefighters, paramedic and doctors and they get paid peanuts in comparison.

The world is back asswards.....pay people appropriatly for what they give back to life.

So true and people line up to pay these ass holes to sign an autograph or see the idiots play some stupid game, making them richer. People look up to sports stars like they are heros, how about the poor guy who busts his ass all day so his family can have a roof over their head and maybe a vacation to Disney world once a year for a few days by walking high steel all day at the top of the world, those are the real heros. So silly, I think pro sports are so boring anyhow, really who cares?  So many people living their lives vicariously thru others.  Just a reason for a bunch of no minds to get together and get drunk.

I agree the money is wayyy out of hand and yes, the hard-working, 50 yrs at the steel mill guys are the true heros..

However, I have been an athlete my whole life and love sports. I do not idolize these guys but it is a release for me and I enjoy it. Tailgaiting with friends before a game is a blast and I guess if you are not into sports, it would not be that fun. But I would not classify myself as "no-mind"?!

I actually consult a bunch of pro athletes (nutrition and supps) and you would be surprised how much they are just like you and I. There are way more lower tier level players making league minimum (few hundred thousand a yr.) than the A-Rods of the world. Granted, I would take the league minimum and have six months off a year any day...

Guess it is just what you are into but we can not sterotype all fans.

Unfortunatly, that is true! And I am a Raider fan, which is hard to admit sometimes because our fans our either fresh out of jail, a ganster or total white trash!! The last game I went to in Oakland, a bunch of latinos were smokin weed right in the concourse at halftime and throwing out gang signs. Luckily, they dont mess with me because of my size and I wear black....

College games can be brutal with the overly drunk college kids. Will see tonight when I go to our home opener! Getting the BBQ out now...yahoo!!

True, but believe it or not, most NFL guys do not make a lot of money.

Think about it, average time in the NFL is 2-3 years.  Ave salary around 400 Gs.  So that is only around 1 million made in their entire carear.  Throw in the following cuts:
400 thousand the democrats take out in taxes
probably 150 grand (10-20%) to your agent
but a nice 300,000 dollar house and an 80,000 car.

whats left?  70 grand!
throw in the free loaders, family, etc.

In the end, no money saved, no job, no income.  At least the guy in the iron mill has job security and may make much more in a lifetime.  Yes, there are exceptions, etc, and other sports (baseball).  but also, the odds of being a pro, very unlikely and one injury, our done.

Nothing shocks me when it comes to Lee.

He oozes excess in terms of food, gear and lifestyle.

Nothing wrong with that, but it all catches up to you eventually.

Granted, I do wonder what it'd be like to have size like that at his height, but I don't want to know what his cardiovascular health and/or liver health is at this point either.

It's all give and take when you get to that level and I'm not sure I like the taking.

I do wish I could get a few of those ProLab shirts he is supplied with.

I asked him to send me a few XXL mesh shirts, but he didn't, of course.

Few years too late...I hade some when he was signed with them but that was ages ago!

He swears he always go to the doc and gets checked pre, during and post cycle or show...hope that is true because he was a walking time bomb for a while with his weight that high but recently has seemed more healthy in the off season.

The last several years he's stopped his binging and bloating in the off-season, which is good.

I just don't understand why anyone would do that if they knew the eventual consequences.

I need some of those fresh ProLab shirts.

Can you sent me a few, babyB?

Because I am not a little bottle sucking baby like most on the other parts of this board. Not being touchy, but I do not display any resemblance of those children in the other sections on getbig.

I hang in here and do not spend time on other boards because of the maturity level displayed by those I respect in here. Probably quite your elder as well.

If you mean no harm, then no foul and I am not one to get into verbal bashing. Peace.

I give everyone nicknames, it's part of my responsibility as a Mod.

Don't take offense.   :-X

Ok, will look out on Tues when I get back to business....I have a good friend who is a rep for them and will hit her up. Try E Bay or Lee's websight. He might need the money.
