What's your opinion of these? What is your opinion of the people that sell them?
Personally (I've only skim-read some research critical of them) I believe the people selling them are taking advantage of the current Oil ecosystem.
Some people might believe gullible people deserve what they inflict on themselves, I disagree, I think an official government statement on the topic (let's face it, it's the governments fault for the current Oil issues, therefore their responsibility) should be issued.
The people selling the pills themselves maybe gullible in believing it works, others just out right pricks.
Jag, I've had a little trouble sleeping recently, have you got any tips?
-
if you buy her gas pills, then you are 100% guaranteed to probably sleep better.... ;D
-
they're a scam. but life is full of scams!
-
i see people doing crazy shit to save a penny on gas.. people hate spending money on gas, and will do anything to get it cheaper.. if dropping a pill in your gas tank saved you a dime a tank,, people would be buying the shit up. it would be on display at every gas station.. but ive never seen it, for a reason
-
Thank God this board is now spam free or Jag would be bombarding this thread with her bogus sales pitches.

If we're gonna discuss this matter seriously, and why not?
then here's my take: There was a study done in Sweden last year, where the gas saving was equal between the placebo pill and the gas pill.
The reason why there is any gas reduction, is because the driver becomes more efficient in the way he/she drives, subconsciously making adjustments that will improve fuel economy.

Gas pills are a scam, they simply don't offer any real world savings in fuel economy. There's no magic pill or fuel injection system that's going to dramatically improve fuel usage. Smart driving is the best tool to use. That means easing into the throttle and not constantly running the A/C and avoiding stopping and starting types of driving as much as possible.

That is NOT my company. The people named in that action were rightfully shut down by the AG's in Texas.
If you're going to discuss this, don't do it with bogus information.
The products works! They have conclusively been proven to be effective by independent 3rd parties,
as well as by governments both at home and abroad.

Effincardio, your statements are based on guesswork and assumption.
My statements are based on facts. Facts = proven test results by independent 3rd parties.
There are some companies out there who offer nothing but pipe dreams and placebos.
My company FFi provides the real deal. A product that is proven, AND effective, and produces results.
In independent dynamometer testing our product demonstrated a significant 39% reduction in fuel consumption.

Upon what do you base this libelous untrue statement?

They are! We've done well over $150 million in sales thus far, and we've been operating less than 2 yrs.
it would be on display at every gas station.. but ive never seen it, for a reason
And the reason you've never seen it on display at every gas station is 2 fold.
- 1st Putting it into retail gas stations would diminish the market potential for individual independent reps.
- 2nd The product reduces the amount of fuel one consumes. Gas stations do not want consumers buying less gas, they want consumers to have the crappiest mileage possible. It keeps people buying more gas, more often.
Do you really think people would continue to purchase and use a product that wasn't producing results for them?
Do you think trucking companies who know their mileage down to a T, would continue to use a product that wasn't producing results for them.
All you skeptics need to mark your calendars for next Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at 3pm eastern time.
That's when a conference call take place with Truckers from all over the world, discussing the results they've had using these products. If you want to be a fly on the wall and listen in, feel free to be my guest to do so.

Just an new EDIT to remind those of you interested in hearing facts that the call takes place today.
The date: Tuesday August 28 The Time: 3:00 pm Eastern Time, 12 Noon Pacific
The number to dial is : (712) 432-7556 pin code 125056#
If you want to know, here is where you get the facts so you won't end up believing the false assumptions of others
ps - If you are going to call in, you might wanna call in at 2:55pm... in order to ensure you get a line in.

1) Is a null point. You think they hold back product visibility to aid their reps? Business is all about money.
2) Not if the pills bring in more gross profit. Gas is very expensive for the stations to buy. They often make very little. Gas pills on the otherhand have less boundaries to produce higher revenues.

1) Is a null point. You think they hold back product visibility to aid their reps? Business is all about money.
The owners of FFi have all the money they need or ever will need. They founded the company with the sole purpose of providing financial opportunity to individuals through network mktg.
Early in his career, FFi Co-founder Randy Ray, sold NASA the computer software to launch the space shuttle.
He sold it, and over-saw the installation etc., It was a $125 million dollar sale that set him up rather nicely in life.
He later went on to found his own computer company that remained #1 in sales & service for 6 yrs running (out of a field of over 450 competitors). He later sold that firm for $25 million.
He along with his wife Wendy Lewis also founded another company, a spin off of the hardware division of their previous company that they sold for $25 mill. This new division achieved position #182 in the Inc. 500 list of fastest growing companies in America. They later sold that company for over $28 million dollars.
For the past 16 years, they operated the #1 support services company for network mktg companies. Those who did not have the resources to run their companies would go to Randy & Wendy, who would provide the shipping, distribution, customer service, accounting, run their back office, design software programs, and administer payrolls etc., essentially Randy & Wendy ran the companies until the owners were capable of running it themselves. There are network mktg companies, HUGE household names doing upwards of hundreds of millions of dollars per year, that would not be in business today if it were not for Randy Ray & Wendy Lewis. As the support company behind the scenes, you can bet they got a healthy % of sales revenues. Trust me when I tell you, Randy & Wendy are not short of cash, and do not need or desire anymore cash.
Randy grew up dirt poor, ...the son of a sharecropper, who only got his education as a result of serving in the US military. When he was done, he entered into a new burgeoning field of computers, ...he studied, learned well, ...and the rest is history. He has accomplished most everything he has ever set out to do in life... there was one thing nagging him however, ...one thing that he felt was left unfinished. While vacationing in one of his multi-million dollar vacation homes in Italy, it occurred to him what that was... it was to found his own network mktg company, so that he could provide everyday people with the opportunity to change their lives. Right now what drives Randy & Wendy, are the stories they hear as they travel around the world visiting countries and meeting distributors. Stories telling them how this company they founded is changing lives. When we have a teacher in Thailand whose average income is $150 a month, ...yet through FFi is now able to make $150 day, ...that's life changing. And for people like Randy & Wendy, it's what makes it all worth it.
If you've never had the joy of making a significant positive difference in someone else's life, then I don't expect you to understand what drives them, and many of us in this company, ...but if you have... you will understand.
When we have people without even the ability to even charge $300 to their credit card, who then grab ahold of this, and start sharing the product with others, ...and within a year, find themselves earning over 7 figures, ...that's life changing. We have many people who will not have to work another day in their lives, because of the solid foundation they set with this business. I know one guy in Alberta Canada in a tiny little town of 700 people, ...his nearest neighbour is 7 miles away, who built a worldwide business from his tiny little cabin. He compressed his work into his 1st 90 days after he got started 19 months ago, ...and the past 16 months have been spent adding a 7,000 sq. foot addition to his tiny cabin, ...but he still makes 7 figures a year. THAT, is changing people's lives, ...and that's why Randy & Wendy founded this company. Putting the product in Walmart or some other chain would erode the opportunity for individuals, and they have no intention of doing that. They'll let Walmart purchase the product for use in their company vehicles, ...but the sales volume they and other commercial users purchase is put through the geneology like everything else, and is creditted to all the distributors in the geneological line.
2) Not if the pills bring in more gross profit. Gas is very expensive for the stations to buy. They often make very little. Gas pills on the otherhand have less boundaries to produce higher revenues.
We have some independant gas station owners who do market the products. I can think of one off the top of my head in Germany, who is looking at completely selling his gas station, as a result of the income he makes through FFi. And no, it's not the small little profit he makes by selling the FFi MPG-Caps, ...it's the enormous residual income he makes as a result of ALL the sales that take place in his business, (a business which is NOT limited to the walkin traffic or drive-in traffic he sees in Berlin) it includes sales in all the countries his business stretches into.
It's a really nice feeling to wake up in the morning and to log into the computer, and to discover that while you were sleeping, your business was growing and expanding throughout Korea, Japan, China, Nigeria, Europe etc., ...and you get to get paid on all of that. But I suppose many of you will never know such a feeling, ...many of you will never even know what it's like to see a measly 14% increase in your mileage without doing anything different other than dropping a caplet in your tank, ...let alone experience the mileage results most people are seeing in actual usage, because many of you are too skeptical to even look at the information, ...but instead prefer to listen to those who also have never looked at the information or even tried the product, but yet claim to speak about it with authority. How sad :'(
I guess the price of fuel just isn't high enough for you yet.
Thank your lucky stars Hurricane Dean missed the refineries in the Gulf of Mexico.... this time.
...but we're only at letter 'D'... we have an entire alphabet of Hurricanes yet to go.
And if you don't think this is going to be a wicked hurricane season... think again. Dean hit MX as a category 5
Just look at all the flooding in Oklahoma & Texas to get a glimpse of what we could be in for this year.
For those open minded enough to look at the information, feel free to visit my website www.jme.mpgproduct.com (http://jme.mpgproduct.com/default.aspx?cid=50962)
I suggest you listen to the flash interview with Jerry Lang and the truckers on the MPG-MEGA-CAPS page.
For those of you who want documentation (ie: gov. tests), PM me, and I will make those available to you.
A company does not do $50 million in sales it's first year...
...then do close to $200 million in sales it's second year...
...doing business in over 192 countries around the world...
...recieve accolades from the top combustion experts on the planet...
...get used by the US military... pass testing with flying colors by various gov'ts around the world if wasn't genuine.
Let's use some common sense please.
Thank You

hahaha... placebos for cars...
A placebo huh?...
One that positively impacts your wallet.
One that will save you money on your gasoline and diesel costs.
One that will reduce your emissions.
One that will make you & your nation less dependent on foreign oil
One that helps you do your part for the environment and reduce climate change gasses
One that will make you money if you choose to take advantage of the business opportunity...
If that's a placebo, ...that's the kind of placebo you want!

ps: The city of Wichita did their own tests on our products.
We told them they would see a 75% reduction in emissions.
Guess What? They averaged a 96% reduction in emissions

Cortisol,
...be glad I don't know your real name, ...and have no power to prevent you from buying my product.
I think I would let you continue to pay full price at the pump, ...even after a refinery got knocked out. ;)

Wait a minute... I take that back. Thanks Cortisol, you helped me to finally answer the question.
Sometime ago, someone asked posters to list something good about Bush. I was at a complete loss.
Even my complimenting of his clothing didn't suffice. Thanks to you, I've thought of something good to say about the man. With his handling of the US economy, and his skillful handling of the war, ...we are now in a situation that has allowed companies like mine to emerge to help solve the problems that he neglected for so long. Had he not been so incompetent in his task, the opportunity to profit by providing real needed solutions to the public would not be there. So, ...in that sense he has been helpful. As for everything else... :-X

My name is Rick L. And don't worry, I won't be ordering any. So we have no problem there.
All joking aside, you were using fear tactics in your sales pitch. I don't care, really. Just pointing out that you didn't respond to my point.
Why is it okay for you to use fearmongering to make money?

Business never have a cap on revenue. Businesses are NEVER doing YOU the favour (I don't know if you're naive or just creative writing). It's a good business tactic to make it out as if they're doing the favour.

In re-reading my post, I suppose you could say it can be considered fear mongering. Didn't mean it to be,
...but I suppose you're right. This time of year, hurricanes wiping out a refinery or two are quite common,
so that figures prominently in my mind. It's simple reality with much past precedence. If that's fear mongering,
so be it. I plead no contest. ;)
I will say this on my behalf though, ...most often when discussing this product, I don't talk about hurricanes.
I talk about the benefits of both using this product, and sharing it with others.
Currently, there are 3 types of people in this world:
- Those who watch things happen :-\
- Those who make things happen :)
- ...and those who wonder... what happened? ???
-
Business never have a cap on revenue. Businesses are NEVER doing YOU the favour (I don't know if you're naive or just creative writing). It's a good business tactic to make it out as if they're doing the favour.
In our business model, you don't succeed, unless you help others to succeed. that is where your success lays.
It's a completely different paradigmn from traditional business where success comes from stepping on others.
That is why there are so many failures in network mktg... it's because people or companies are out for themselves.
When someone is truly all about YOUR success, it shows. I will tell you in my 17 yr. network mktg career,
I have never experienced company owners/founders like FFi Co-Owners & Co-Founders Randy Ray & Wendy Lewis.
They truly are amazing. And they put their money where their mouth is. If you've never met them, ...you will not know.
In most companies, when there are challenges, the owners will try to hide that from the field. Not them.
They instead will tell us about them, and together we roll up our sleeves to solve them.
Randy & Wendy travelled so much last year, Randy had to add an extra 12 pages to his passport.
Most companies will only expand into different markets once the distributors have produced enough profit to do it.
Expanding to and opening up a new market costs upwards of millions of dollars. Randy & Wendy had so much confidence in their product, they expanded internationally immediately, knowing full well that if they provided the vehicle the success and the sales would follow. That is really all network mktg is... a vehicle. A vehicle to take the individual distributor from POINT A to POINT B... or wherever it is they want to go.
To hear last night's conference call feel free to listen in online here (http://www.jaguarenterprises.net/audio/new.htm)
That's just a page I put up for my people internationally who are unable to access the calls because they take place in North American time zones. It difficult for them to get up at 3:00 am to call North America

1) Is a null point. You think they hold back product visibility to aid their reps? Business is all about money.
Business is not "all about money", business is about providing a valueable product or service that meets a need and solves a problem, and in doing so produces a profit in the process. That said, ...yes, people do hold back product visibility to aid their reps, ...and in network mktg, quite often that is what you do. Too much visibility can be harmful and counter productive, both to the company, as well as the reps, ...and here is why:
Network mktg is a whole different animal from traditional retail sales. It requires personal contact.
The types of products that do well in network mktg are those that require personal contact. If none was required, the product could simply be shoved on store shelves and there would be no need for distributors. That has been the downfall of many a network mktg company, because their product was not exclusive, it didn't require any explainations, and it was available at every single corner store, and did not require the consumer to go to the individual reps to get it. When something is mass produced and put in retail stores, there goes the opportunity for individual reps. Why would someone make the extra effort to buy something from you... if they can grab it at their local grocery store when they were shopping for groceries? They won't.
But by having a unique product, consumers must come to you to get it. By having one that requires personal contact, people are able to share information person to person about how to properly use that product. What to do to get the best results from that product, what they can expect to see with the use of that product, ...and to head off potential problems or challenges with the use of that product.
We encountered this issue with overexposure right from the start. We had people who saw really good results, ...then all of a sudden their results started dropping off. By having contact with the individual, who sold them the product, they were able to make adjustments that saw their results return, and even increase that much more. By having contact, you are able to diagnose problems in their usage of the product. I have it in my own group as well. When someone comes to me and says 'the product doesn't work anymore, I got increased mileage to begin with, now my mileage has gone down', ...I'm able to immediately know they are using too much. I'll ask how much are you putting in, ...and they respond "I'm using a full pill with each fillup, ...X told me to use that amount". Well X has a 90 litre gas tank, while this person only has a 40 litre tank. I will tell them, you're using too much, I will send them the usage chart and explain to them they are only to use an amount sufficient to achieve a certain saturation point in the fuel. Which means if they have a 30 gallon tank, ...but are only topping off with 10 gallons of gas, ...they should dose it according to the 10 gallons they're putting in, rather than for the full capacity of their tank because they already have 20 gallons of fuel in there that already has the product in it. Sure enough they come back every time and say 'You were right'. I did what you suggested, and the mileage went way up.
One thing I suggest to people is to only put in the exact same amount of fuel each time, regrdless of the size of their tank. This way, they can use a set dosage of 1/2 pill, or 1 pill each time accordingly. Many people who start off using the product will start off using the correct dosages, but as they pop out the pills from the blister packs, they also pop out the instructions and the pill to fuel ratio chart as well. By putting in the exact amount of fuel each time, they can use the exact dosage each time without having to review a chart that may or may not be there.
That's why network mktg companies frequently prohibit sales of their products on eBay, flea markets, swap meets, or through traditional retail outlets, because there is no such contact or continued contact with consumers. The usual exceptions though are those businesses in the service sectors like salons, service stations etc, where there is an ongoing and continued relationship with the clients who come in, or in small mom & pop locations where there is personal contact, ...and the business owners must be reps. In the beginning we had people who literally lined up at gas stations and sold hundreds of dollars in mpg-caplets to motorists driving up to the pump, ...then had no further contact with them. Without proper information about how to get the most out of the product, ...many of those consumers drove off, got good initial results, ...but then saw those results drop off. What good is that? They made an initial sale, but now they have to go out and do it again. it's far better to make the initial sale, ...and continue to get paid over & over again, as people continue to re-purchase the product over & over again. People aren't going to keep re-purchasing a product unless they are getting results with it.
Even in my own group, I have a guy in Israel who insisted the products didn't work. He got initially good results, but then his mileage went down, so he stopped using them. He kept insisting he should know because he was a mechanic. I asked him how much product he was using and how big was his fuel tank. He kept insisting he was using the right amount. I kept asking the same question until he finally gave me the size of his fuel tank, and the exact number of pills he was putting in with each fillup. He was using 2 of our 1 gram pills per tankful. 2 grams per tankful! ::) That would be fine if he had a 200 litre fuel tank, ...problem is he only has a 40 litre tank. :-[. Instead of using two 1 gram pills, he should have been using only half of our 1/2 gram pills. When I explained he was overdosing by 8 x's the amount he should have been using, and should only have been using 1/8th the amount he was putting in, he freaked. He didn't know, ...and why didn't he know... because he didn't bother to read the emails sent from the company or from me. He couldn't be bothered to read english, (even tho he speaks it) and figured when it was translated to Hebrew or Dutch, then he'd read them. Big mistake. Good thing overdosing will not harm the engine, it will simply not give you the results you are looking for in that instead of a catalytic coating, too thick a coating could develop that would instead absorb the fuel, rather than cause it to burn more efficiently.
It is virtually impossible for the FFi-MPG-Cap to not work. if someone is not getting results, that is a tell-tale sign that the person is using the product incorrectly, or there is an issue with their vehicle that is preventing the product from working. Quite frequently it is simply a non-syphon screen preventing the caplets from getting into the fuel to begin with, but if the product is used correctly, and is dissolved in the fuel, the product works 100% of the time, everytime. Please listen to the flash recording of North America's top combustion expert Jerry Lang explain how this product works and how to get the best use of it by clicking here (http://jme.mpgproduct.com/default.aspx?cid=50962), and clicking on the MPG-MEGA-CAPs link on the 'Products' page.
The 2nd thing to remember in all of this, is that gas pills, like bodybuilders, ...are not all created equal. :D
There are many companies out there trying to market gas pills, however FFi is the only company that can PROVE their product works. FFi is the only company that has completed independent EPA dynamometer testing. FFi is the only company that has done $200 million in sales from a standing start, ...FFi is the only company that has withstood independent 3rd party testing by laboratories and gov't's around the world, ...FFi is the only company that has the top combustion experts on the planet raving about it's efficacy, ...and FFi is the only company doing business in 192 countries around the world.
In Texas, ...they call that a clue! ;)

Business IS all about money. The business providing the most useful product/service has a larger market share and thus a higher potential revenue which all comes back to businesses making money.
Go to college and do a degree in business and economics.
Nordic obviously the most useful product/service if marketed correctly will gain a larger market share etc,
however, the way your stated was worded, it implied that making money was the ONLY consideration, or should be the ONLY consideration. I say no. Profitability is important because it provides the sustainability, but profitability also has to weighed against safety as well as usefulness for the consumer. There are some companies that don't care about safety, ...and will gladly substitue antifreeze, instead of using a proper sweetner in their toothpaste, ...or who will use leaded paints because it's less expensive and therefore will produce a higher profit margin. these are the companies for whom it's all about the money and any other consideration be damned. I just think some things are more important than larger profit margins. I say, in such a scenario, shrink the profit margin, ...and simply do more business. Make it up in volume. that's all.
