i had a couple of steak, egg and cheese bagel's from Mickey D's this morning so i went and did some uphill fast walking on the treadmill and burned 400 calories, that's a pretty good amount for me, how 'bout you guys?

How long were you on?
Not sure I trust those machines, they always seem to give me lowball numbers even after a really intense session. Not sure how many calories, but deffinately less than 400. :(

I ran for like 2.5 miles and burned 400+ calories, treadmill.

In my mid 20's to mid 30's I would ride the lifecycle for 32 minutes and burn between 500 to 600 calories depending how hard I felt like going. I weighed about 190 at 6'2". Today at 46 I get about 400 calories burned in the same 32 minutes at 240 pounds and I am working pretty hard. Sucks getting old.

In the last 4 years...probably like 12 calories from my epic 15 minute slow walks to the fridge.

about 50 minutes, 3.7MPH at a 7 degree incline, i felt like a fat shit after i ate taht stuff this morning so i did it, normally i ony go a half hour.

75 minutes riding the bike at high resistance a couple of months ago-but dont normally do that.
This summer i did use the pushmower on the yard-after lifting and it was 105 out, i guarantee that burned a shitload of calories-had to drink about 64 ounces of water to do it.

I train and race in outrigging and some guys there have watches that tell them everything including calories burned, we have done sessions burning 2,500-3,000 calories. The resistance of water is far greater than air.
I always ate clean for BBing but now that i am training in both i pretty much eat some junk every day and look better doing it, if i don't i just flatten out and have no energy.

1300-ish. Went for a while on a stair-stepper and then an elliptical runner. 800 was about my normal on the treadmill, these days I just run about 4 miles and call it a day.

Any wrestler can destroy these stupid 800 calorie bs claims.... iv annihilated that myself a bunch of times... but heres a story....
First off my boy JP is known for his endurance... we ran cross country just so the school would have a full team (a deal so we could get in shape prewrestling season, but did not practice for cross ountry ONCE). He would consistently finnish in the top 10 against the kids who train all year round from other schools. Anyway....
During season he was a big weight cutter.... we had a new years party n he said fuck it and ate his ASS off and went up 16lbs! So anyway we have a match 2 days later. He lost the 16lbs of fat/shit/water plus the 4lbs he needed to make weight. 20lbs in two days, no diuretics, just bustin his ass! Didnt eat, and during the school day (he didnt go to class) the coach told us he maxed out the stairmaster 6x (45minutes at full speed!) Consider he was in full sweat pants, short, tshirt, hoody and his face covered by the hood! You cannot even imagine how many calories that possibly was... when he couldnt do any more he went n rode the bike in the boiler room! NOBODY i know is that tough, NOBODY... hes a friggen monster mentally for that! We all know it wasnt the healthiest (ok coulda killed himself haha) but somebody try to come close to that!

but you are too stupid little cun*t to know that it is depending about the time used. Let me explane: If you run for an hour, you burn 500cal. If you walk for an hour, you burn 200 cal. If you use treadmill for half an hour, and try to tell that you have burn 400 cal, you are a liar...

4000 calories=6 hours on treadmill

exactly 1420 calories LOL...i remember this number because i was kinda of competing with a friend....
It was more or less 45 minutes running on treadmill(not too hard, medium to low intensity, but still running), 1 hour on bike and more or less 45 minutes on the elliptical machine (this was the worse) all without rest between machines
this is calculated by the numbers that showed on the machines, but i don't think they are really truth. Probably it was a lot less in reality

the trick is not to put on the unnecessary calories in the first place

i use to run 5 k and i had 3 hour long wrestling practices..... it was fucking brutal but we were number 7 in the country at the time and are JV was number 1

anyways, when i was in the army, i got super obsessed with seeing how skinny i could get and i would do 2 hour eliptical and treadmill sessions and i averaged about 1200 to 1500 each time. thank god for ipods though or else i wouldnt even do 30 minutes a day now.
