That beatdown Heath took is worth far more than $6000. Sad to see some guys getting paid so little, particularly Koscheck in the last fight of his contract, and Pellegrino for his game effort.

I hope Daddy gets a new deal soon.  Main draw making less than Mir?  I know Mir is fighting out the remainder of his old deal, but that is a travesty.

Guida got a big win, and a big name under his belt, he just didn't get airtime or much of a paycheck.

Any of you guys wonder what type of healthcare and to what extent these guys are covered?

I know they all receive immediate post-fight exams and medical treatment for injuries suffered in the fight, but take Gonzaga for example.

They can try to re-set the nose post fight (a la Rich Franklin) but from the looks of it, the bone was crushed, his septum probably displaced, and very possible for damage to his turbines.  Does the UFC pay for follow-up treatment and follow-up surgeries if necessary (other than for cosmetic purposes)?

Just curious.

And also, did the UFC pay for David Heath get that transfusion he needed after the fight?

Some of those guys really have to fire their manager.
Randy should be giving out a grand here and there at the afterparty to the youngsters.

Can't believe the big differences. How much would Koscheck get in case of a win? And GSP if he had lost?

If i'm not mistaken those TUF guys signed their "six figure" contracts, so they may as well be stuck with that crap. No telling how far that "six figures" is stretched out over how many fights..etc.

I'm sure he will throw a bone to one of them though on the side to keep them in check (a toyota pick up or something) ....lol

Joe Stevenson right? Why on earth do you refer to everybody by their nicknames? It seems like you never use any fighters real names while posting. Is there a reason for this?

Because Joe is such a common name amongst fighters, and I assume if you WATCH any of the events, you would know.  To please danielson, I will change.  So for the upcoming middleweight fight, Serra and Hughes, not Terror.

Lol, I just get tired of having to go to Sherdog(to the fighter finder thing) to keep up with the Conversation. I watch the fights, but don't really worry too much about their nick names.

Who do you want to win, Quinton Jackson or Dan Henderson?  (note, there is no reference to Rampage).  JK.

I am not very fond of either of them.
