Spanish international and FC Sevilla player Puerta had a heart-attack in a match against getaffe.
He had several others later that night and died in the hospital.
Sevilla had been linked to the infamous dr Puerta, and rumours of blooddoping and EPO surrounded the team.
Such a shame a young man has to die so soon. Would have been a father in 2 months.
RIP Antonio Puerta

Brings back memories of a couple of years ago.
Seeing 24 yo Miklos Fehrer die on tv during a soccer game...

It's a real shame, they're saying it was some kind of heart defect.
-
Yes, i just read it was a genetic thing.
Had a heart-attack on the pitch, and several more later in the evening. Died because of brain damage.

Fucking unreal, R.I.P.

An English player collapsed during half-time in a Carling Cup game last night. He suffered two heart failures. Luckily he's recovering in hospital now.
I also heard on the radio about an Israeli footballer who collapsed and died from a heart attack today during training.
Anyone remember when Man City's Mark Vivien Foe collapsed during a game? That was an heart attack which he died from.

I remember that, it's crazy how it happened, just walking then collapses.
