Kurosawa was once considered the greatest director of all time. I think you should categorize the best directors. there are great action, drama, comedy etc. I mean Blake Edwards is an awesome comedic director as Rob Reiner. Ron Howard is good too as a director. George Lucas.

Tarantino and Zemeckis are definitely up there but my all-time favourite would have to be Speilberg.

spielberg is overrated
he did a few movies that was fun watching as a kid but i doubt is of that much interest today...
raiders of the lost arc was over 25 years ago...

Yeah but you've got to appreciate that he did it ahead of its time - nobody else was making films like that back then - it's irrespective of the fact that they were for kids - the guy made great films nonetheless.
