So I was walking in around in city, near Washington Square Park. There was this chick there walking along, who just happened to live in the same area as me. I was visiting the area to meet a friend, which I had done, so after saying bye to him, I sat at a bench.
Now the chick was walking by and I call her up and ask her if she's a student and if her term has started yet. I tell her that I'm a student blah, blah, she tell me the same, mutters something about financial aid and then asks me for my number. I give it out. We part.
Now later I come back home to help my mother with the laundry(sunday) and she calls me from her work, and the convo spans 1 hour and 21 minutes! We cover so much shit, family, ambitions, morals, culture. I asked her if she was single and she said yes. I asked her out, saying I'd meet her at Tuesday(today). She asked me why I hadn't asked her out in the 2 years that I had seen her around my area. I told her that I was shy, and couldn't think of a proper situation to do so.
Fast forward to monday(laborday) and I'm in the gym supersetting skull crushers and push downs. She calls me up, saying she wants to meet me right away. I ditch my workout, run out of the gym and walk to meet her, which took 15 minutes. I gave her a peck on the cheek and she said she wanted to see me and then said she had to go visist some of her family. I asked if our Tuesday date was still valid and she repllied "yes!" and smiled and I walked with her a block before going home.
This morning after classes. I called the bitch up, she doesn't pick. We were supposed to be going out at like 2. She calls back and says something came up at her school(NYU) and it was urgent and we'd have to cancel.
Now this chick is hot and I'm dying to fuck her and I wouldn't mind a relationship either. But is she playing games with me? Did something really urgent come up or was it straight up bullshit because 1) she isn't interested, or 2) she's playing games. Anyways, I'm not calling her unless she calls me. I'm angry atm and frustrated.

I am confused about the part where you went to meet her from the gym? If she just had to see you for a minute, that could mean two things. She couldn't get you out of her head and wanted to see you really quick before she went to see her family or she couldn't decide on what she thought about you and was disappointed when she did see you, making her want to leave the situation quickly. As far as something coming up to cancel the date today, I am not going to lie, it doesn't look too good. Maybe there was a valid reason for her cancelling, but if she really wanted to see you she would make time, whether that meaning rescheduling by a few hours or something similar. Question is, now what do you plan on doing? Are you going to be the aggressor or let her chase after you? It's a tough call when the situation is this ambiguous but the worst thing that can happen is she says no, so if I were you I would ask her out one more time, you have nothing to lose really. Keep us posted.

She called me today at school, while in the library of all places.. But it was on vibrate, missed it. Went outside an hour later and called her back.
Basically, her student loan was not approved and she was at NYU trying to sort things out and that's why she had to cancel. She's planning on transfering to St. Francis or some shit I've never heard of, but she sounded sad, but was cheered up with my guido and black security gaurd jokes. But she said she might not attend this semester, as it is probably too late. She wanted to meet me but I had a boring Literature class and had a bit reading to do.
