I am not a wine drinker, but when I do drink it I never have red cause I don't like red.

I don't care to be considered a wine drinker if it means I have to drink stuff that tastes yucky to me.     ;D

Juni, which ones do you suggest that are available at shops?  The drier the better.

Also, you may want to order a bottle of Duckhorn Merlot.  I think you'd likey. :)

I've got a bottle of '99 Chateau Briot Bordeaux and a bottle of '99 Mas Montel Cuvee Psalmodi.  Can anyone shed any light on what to expect?  :-\

To me it makes the fruit come out too much if it's chilled.  But you should enjoy it how you like! :)

its suppoed to be slightly warmer than room..

i never send bad food back at a resturant..i just order more, of something  different
i tip exceedingly well ( ask Div)
i'm super nice to everyone

pet peevevs that make me walk straight out without paying and cuss out the manager as well

1) i ordered a 1995 clus dubois merlot in 2000...and the c unny brings me a kendall jackson recent vintage in a clus dubois bottle...fuck that..i'm no wineexpert at all but kendall jackson is my staple wine and i can tell a clus dubois and a jackson apart...and i can fiar at telling its age...i simply walked out after giving the manager a few choice words..

2) serve me cold red wine..i'm gonna send the bottle back and order a mixed drink instead..if the house insists on serving me a cold drink might as well get the drink right..

3) if i have leftovers.(sometimes i'll fill up on appetizers and leave my food untouched) pack my food for me..DO NOT bring me containers for me to do so at the table....if ya do..ya get a measly tip...enough to be insulting...cause i mean to be insulting..

rant over  :(

I'm not sure why that irritates you so much  ???  Unless it's just a hunk of meat and nothing else, I would prefer to package it myself.

Now... if a server asks "Do you need change?", they've automatically blown their tip.

How about when at some restaurants the server fills the water glasses and touches the pitcher to the top of the glasses?  :P

THE PITCHER SHOULD NOT TOUCH THE GLASSES

To each their own I guess  ;)

When it comes to the change part ~ "do you need change" or "can I bring you change" makes the assumption the balance is an automatic tip.  Don't make assumptions!  "I'll be right back with your change" is a better choice of words IMO.
