Wolf has so much potential it's ridiculous.
Given the improvements he's made over the past year, it's exciting to imagine how much greater he'll be at this year's Olympia.
-
He's good , he has loads of potential but he's years and years off top 3 at the Olympia ( if ever )
-
I can't believe that bum kamali placed higher than this guy before.

Dudes got potential if he lives long enough to see it.

The biggest criticism of Dennis wolf has been his calves and back.
Though he could definetly benefit from more lower and mid-back thickness, his width is comparable to the the big names of the sport.

crazy hamstrings in those shots.
-
Wolf is only 28. He will make the improvements he needs.
He'll be Mr. Olympia in 2009.
-
I like the shape of his back, I wouldn't say it's underdeveloped. Just different insertions. Has an old school shape and makes for a crazy taper. If he had some diamond shaped calves it would help him out. How much , I don't know. Incomplete BB's have won with one bicep, or one lat, but apparently if you have two small calves it's game over.

agree squad if he had Eric F.'s calves he be a Mr. o soon.....
-
In 2-3 years he will not be out of the Top 3 in the Olympia if he keeps progressing as he has. F*ck calves...who has them other than maybe 2 people
-
Looks incredible, amazing taper.
-
incredible back shots
-
Awesome vtapper
-
Excellent lines and overall look.
-
Quickly becoming one of my favorite Bodybuilders ... looks great !!

If ever? He is 28 years old and will be there in time and is not that far away from it as he is now. He could presumably be very close and I don't think anyone would voice any objections.
-
he does look good.......... in a few years he's gonna be up there!
-
13th.
-
8th 2007 Mr. O.......
-
Future Mr. O my ass....Mark my words......He will never be Mr. Olympia....
-
Mr O?
I don't think so --> High biceps/triceps + H shaped abdomen?
As much as I like Dennis, will never happen.

Thank you... ;)
Big_Wiggs. what kind of physique do you predict is next inline?
-
Has no back, until he gets one, he'll be fighting for 9-11th place.
-
I gotta tell ya, I'm really impressed with this Funkhauser guy. I had never seen him before this week. He has no structural flaws and has the ability to come in great condition. I don't know how tall he is, so that might be a problem. Obviously he'll have to put alot more muscle on his upper body.
Then of course you have Phil heath, and Melvin.
Victor is good but he isn't great and Toney Freeman is too old.

Fankhouser will do damage in the pro ranks........freakiest lower half in the pros already, he just needs to bring up his arms and chest......he has good back detail and width, and a decently small waist.

Exactly. He already look "mature" shape wise and density wise. Just more size at the right place and he's in. I think he's 5'7" but shouldn't be a problem because he still look "tall" for his height.
-
yea he's not that short......he's 5'8 or 5'9 i believe.....and he wasnt even close to the heavyweight limit of 225 so he has alot of growing he can do.

That's great. he looked short in the interview with The Clown. I forgot to factor in the heavy lifts he wears in his shoes.
-
I just check the Ironmanmagazine.com website from the show and they had him listed at 5'9 214, about the same as Heath.....I don't know how old he is but him and Heath are the future. I just noticed on some pics, that because his calves start so close to his ankles, it give the appearance of short stumpy legs. He will really need to fill out his upper body. Oh yeah his back lat spread aint the greatest....needs more thickness.

he "the clown" was wearing boots in that video lol, and he's a legit 5'10.....remember we took that pic w/him at the olympia last year

I'm 5'10", I don't "hike" and I was taller bro..

His back development completely ends at the mid-back point...nonexistant mid to lower back.

Mr O?
I don't think so --> High biceps/triceps + H shaped abdomen?
Massive arms and a tiny drum-tight midsection
problems?

please stop that shit! why is wolf so good? you all guys went mad about aleksander fedorov couple of years ago! you said he is going to be future mr o etc. flex magazine hyped him so much that i went sick! he was also young and big! where in the hell is he now? he ofcourse is still young and could be something some day but...
dennis wolf future mr o - my ass!
what makes him so special? any good young bb can be future mr o! we have seen before that the most genetically gifted and most hyped guy is not always the future mr o! actually it's not very usual!
-
He looks great, but mark my works, the insulin will catch up with him.
-
crazy hamstrings in those shots.

His upper back looks pretty dense, but he appears to have a long torso with short insertions. Nothing you can do about that. If his wheels improve, he could be a real threat.

excellant point you seem to be able to get away with it for about 12 months then the waist just swells, whats the point of being 20lbs heavier on stage if your waists blows up as well.

I do remember when Alexander was suppose to out mass Ronnie. He was the next big thing, the boards went crazy for him
these days there is a new "next big thing" almost everyday....Trey, Heath, Wolf, Eric, that myostan kid......
-
DUde will never be Mr. O. Simply because the best physiques never do. Examples are Flex, Shawn, and Levrone. The physique that inspire us are not the one's that are picked. The Freaky one's, the one's that represent the extreme are the one's that are picked

It's true, he's got so much left to do:
1. Get to know the judges personally
2. Grow a gut
3. Ruin his proportion
4. Get better acquainted (on a personal level) with the "powers that be"
Takes time.
Sergio can show him how the modern BB world does it:

Even Fedorov would destroy Wolf - and what are the odds Fedorov being MrO?
Young talents come and go always but only couple of them stay :'(

Shoulders look bigger than his lats in this pic, and calves = zero, I read in an article in MD that he trains calves everyday ,ok now hes a pro and he knows what works for him, but still calves are muscles and need to have some recovery time too.
