Title: NOLVA REDUCE GAINS?
Post by: jerseboy811 on September 05, 2007, 11:55:42 AM
Im about to start a cycle of test e and eq.

i was considering taking nolva everyday during the cycle to reduce the amount of water retention, but I just came across an article that said nolva can considerably lower gains while taking a test because tests require alot of estrogen in the body to make the maximum amount of gains.  is this true?

Nolva seems to blunt gains a bit. But, 1st cycle you can prolly not screw it up even if you try.

You want some Nolva and/or other Ai's on hand for sure. If you start to itch, tingle, hurt, its time for them ASAP.

I personaly wait till I need them, but I know how my body tends to react at theis time.

Same here, i don't use anything unless i need it.

i've never had an itchy nipple so i guess i'm lucky.

Did you guys happen to see the gh15 pmq thread from yesterday ont the main board. It goes over that. The answer is no! it does not hinder gains unless bulking to a new dimention ( as in year bulkers). The only thing it will do is eliminate water retention and bloat. The leaner you stay while bulking, the more quality the physique will have. This is an on going problem in my eyes,...... To many young lifters choose quanity over quality(especially insulin users). When they turn around and hit the back shots, Nothing, but smooth sheer size. Bodybuilding is a lifestyle, and changes take time. Nothing great will come fast. I dont understand why these younger national level guys wanna blow up and leave detail in the shitter. Remove the guts, and focus more on bettering the real size. Doesnt that make more sense? Im so sick of what i call PERMABULKERS, dudes who are always on, sportin 20%bf eating like shit, and talkin shit on the 175lb dude whos on prohormones or nothing but shredded. FAT IS NOT MUSCLE, NOR WILL IT CONVERT TO MUSCLE, AT ANY TIME LESS  FAT IS BETTER. Do yourselves a favor and stay leaner.

I read an article that said you need a certain amount of Estrogen to help upgrade your Androgen receptors, therefore NOLVA during a cycle does blunt growth to a point.
I am no pro on this just repeating what I read.

Nolva does this on a VERY small scale(if at all) because it only blocks estrogen in certian tissue and doesn't reduce it's level in the body.

Adex and Letro are the ones that will wipe out estrogen and slow gains if you use too much.

this is why i never use any of them unless i NEED them.

water retention is good for building strength and muscle. alot of people mistake water for fat and so you will see alot of guys trying to eliminate water retention on cycle hoping they will eliminate fat.

everyone has their own opinion on this and i'm just stating mine from personal experience and research.

Yup to ALL taht.      MUSCLE CARRIES US - WE CARRY FAT!

The Insulin Look is going to be like the last straw in the BBing coffin. Its ugly to us. Imagine what the average person
thinks of it. Well, that is if the Blubber/water monsters can ever break from their HOURLY dosing protocals and leave the house to be seen.

Bigger is to the point now where I dont know if I can call it better anymore.
I cant believer they aint Dying like flies YET.  Wait a bit.

I used nolva with a sust and deca cycle and really didnt get good results.
I did another s and d cycle about 4 months later but without the nolva, my gains were so much better.
Only use nolva is you really need it imo

Bingo!  I've always laughed at people that thought they were losing gains from taking nolva.. if your idea of gains is water bloat then maybe so... I prefer quality muscle I can see and feel.

I used Nolva on my 1st cycle and gained 20 solid pounds that NEVER came off.
1st time is pretty much a gift though. After that it gets tougher.
