Wonder if Ronnie will retract his famous one-liner from last time he was on the radio show. Just one white man's opinion. That still cracks me up. I guess now its just "one white mans sandow trophy".
-
Does anybody know if the show is still broadcast on Sirius radio?
-
they should put Ronnie and Cutler on together.
-
Jay will be back on PBW the monday after he wins his 2nd Sandow.
-
they should put Ronnie and Cutler on together.
I agree.....could you imagine the tension between the two? It would make for some entertaining radio. Ronnie and Cutler mumbling back and forth...... ;D
-
Jay will be back on PBW the monday after he wins his 2nd Sandow.
It'll be giant news so matter if he wins or loses.
Ronnie:
Will you retire if you win?
Will you retire if you lose?
Please predict the top 6 (this will show how much respect he really gives Jay)
-
why would anyone wanna listen to what ronnie says?
i lift em big weights
eat chicken wings and good old barbaque sauce
you gotta do what you gotta do
-
they should put Ronnie and Cutler on together.
Thats what ive been saying for the looongest time
They should have DUELING guests on , going HEAD 2 HEAD with each other , obviously we will see the outcome and who would have won the battle and thus bragging rights
These guys need to have Shawn and King on there going head to head ( RATINGS !) , screw that having a response from the other 1 week later *YAWN*
Take note dan .....do it before the no bull steals the idea
-
Dan , 1 more thing dude
Pleeeease ask the guests that you have on to please *SPEAK UP* ! Its the most unflattering thing to listen to a guest that you have on , and he sounds like he rather be anywhere else on the planet BUT the radio show
Absolutely lame sounding for a gr8 show. Please emplore them to exude atleast a tad bit of happiness and excitement by being on the show.Good examples are Levrone, arnie and QT (Man that guy spoke LOUD AND CLEAR, I LOVED THAT)
Mark dugdale , sounded like he was sleeping !
Please dude for the sake of ya own show m, wake em up a bit
-

PBW has done that before. One of the all time great PBW shows was when Priest and Shawn faced off about the PDI. It got out of control. A few weeks ago Quincy and Tony Freeman were on together (they both seemed afraid to talk shit once they were on the show together), Most of these guys get soft once they're on together. They talk smack in the mags. But once they get on the radio together, its all P.C. sweet talk "I respect you brother...". "Your still my dawg...."
-
Hmm... questions to ask Ronnie...
1) How do you feel that Jay is now the front runner coming into the Olympia?
2) How do you feel that some people are saying that your prediction, Victor Martinez, might actually come in second over you at this years Olympia, and you may even be in third place?
3) Will you compete with your hair or without your hair?
4) If Jay loses to you, will you shave his hair off?
5) How is it different training for the Olympia at your age now than it was even 2-3 years ago?
6) Last year, some people said your back was off. Can you get your back to where you want it to be this year?
7) Do you agree that your demeanor on stage and afterwards at last years Olympia were considered not a 'good loser' attitude?
8) Does Jay Cutler deserver your respect and others as being the current Mr. Olympia?
9) Will you retire whether you win or lose this year at the O?
10) How has life changed now that you are not the current Mr. Olympia?
11) If you do retire, what would you want to be doing in 5 years from now?
12) After you lost to Jay Cutler, did you lose any support from your fans?
Just some questions...
-
Jay will be back on PBW the monday after he wins his 2nd Sandow.
Cool, right after the 2008 Olympia.
-
Ask Ronnie who gave him the tip (backstage) that he didn't win last year?
-

I agree , much like the bob vs milos saga on the boards translated to a dud on air
But *certain* shows deserve the ` dueling guests` format , when those guests have an eletric chemistry together eg : kamakli vs shawn, milos vs shawn .If you read you above statment , you will notice that you say that the `duel` show was one of the best ever , this proves my point

Who gives a f*ck, lol, why must people get so hung up on this shiz?! I am white yet I do not care, why do you? ???

The double standar is a little annoying at times, thats all.
I do have to admit that Ronnie is very well groomed for a black person, though.

Where's the double standard? You apear to be a racist turd so it's all fair. Whether your irony is deliberate or not, your kind of comments are rife on boards like this. Doesn't that give Ronnie a licence to say whatever he wants?!

Ronnie Rules! Looking forward to it.
-
Is it still "LIGHT WEIGHT BaaaaaaaaaaaBEEEEEEEEEEE?" :-*

Thats what I ment. ::)
Anyway, it will be interseting to hear what he has to say. ;)

The Beef has all the respect in the world for PBW, Dan and Bob. The question that needs to be very respectfully asked ( he does have 8 Sandows ) is . . . " Ronnie, in recent pictures there is undeniable evidence of tricep and lat atrophy. Do you care to comment.? "
The Beef
-
Why would I tune in to listed to "one black man's opinion"?
Ronnie is a racist, but because he's black no one calls him on it. If he were white and said something like that, he would have been at the very least fined by the IFBB, or worse.
-
why would i listen to someone who speaks unintelligible ignorant jive?

I agree totally, I lost all respect for ronnie after that comment.
-
That just the way it goes, black people can now be racist against white people, but white people can't do a thing about it. And if we do let the N word slip, world war 3 will erupt.
As for Ronnie, he wasn't being racist, just made a dumb statement. Remember, Ronnie is black and has won 8 sandows, he knows that it would be stupid to say he lost because Jay is white.

It's hard to make the same dumb statement more than once. ::)

Dumb statement?
He's got the classic test wrinkles in the face and ab separation starting. Natural? ???
-
Ask Ronnie what he thinks of the "ANTI-COLEMAN CONSPIRACY" -- and where he thinks the misinformation campaign about his torn lat and torn tricep are originating from.
-
Ask Ronnie what he thinks of the "ANTI-COLEMAN CONSPIRACY" -- and where he thinks the misinformation campaign about his torn lat and torn tricep are originating from.
Why not be honest and just ask him an unbiased question like: "Why has your left tricep and lat gotten smaller and looked like it has been the cause of injury of some sort?"
-
I really think you should ask him all of these questions s they are all *GREAT* questions which id looove to hear what he answers
heres 1 : ask him straight out , what happened to his trademark BACK and why isnt he wide on the shoulders no more??
-
Dan/Bob,
Will Darrem be calling in? You guys typically have recent winners of shows call in a segment.
-
Ronnie says the judges got it wrong, that Jay should of lost, and that is after he saw the pictures, and had almost a full year to think about it.
-
Delusional. Absolutely delusional. :-X
Jason
-
That's just one big assed, black man's opinion....
-
Ronnie thought he had it won the whole weekend, until they told him second right before the announcement.
-
i love ron... i do not belive he said that... either provide proof or kill yourself >:(
-
Good for Ronnie, believes in himself.
Regardless of who wins they should all think this way even Mr.Kamali
x
-
This will be his last Olympia. It's official!
-
hahaha dan mentioned getbig. nice.
ronnie doesn't want to comment on the tricep/lat questions.
-
"Eyez gunna celemebrate in dem les vaygas tittis bar, wen o' loose!"
-
ATE TYME MISTAH OLIMPEEA
-
while it's good to see him go out on top (or near the top), it's kinda sad.
i've only watched the sport for a few years, and ronnie's always been the winner til last year.
the stage will be a lot less personal without him.
-
"Eyez gunna celemebrate in dem les vaygas tittis bar, wen o' loose!"
hahaahaa, is getbig invited??
-
Ronnie has been a long time warrior.
not a flash in the pan.
good for him. I hope he kicks the refridgerator's cold white ass!
-
the stage will be a lot less personal without him.
???
-
This will be his last Olympia. It's official!
This will be his last Olympia ;) until he decides to come out of retirement and compete again next year
-
he wouldnt make that statement unless chad already told him hes not responding anymore to the gear!
the writing is on the wall, he knows hes gonna have to fight just for a top 4 spot!
-
This will be his last Olympia ;) until he decides to come out of retirement and compete again next year
Wrong.
Jeesus will come to him, and tell him that he wants him (Ronnie) back on the stage.....
-
Jeesus will come to him, and tell him that he wants him (Ronnie) back on the stage.....
Just another white man's opinion.
-
everyone around him prolly told him he won, the chad did, that's probably a fact. The chad seems to think that all Ronnie has to do is show up and he's gonna win.....doesn't matter that he had 1/2 a back, one arm, no ab definition or anything...he's ron, he's gotta win.
-
lol classic Ronnie
-
this is great news
-
of course he is going to say that..what else is he suppose to say. is he actually suppose to respectful and he good sport
-
He could just do the Arnold and cash in on the 100 grand. He didn't say he would never step on a BBing stage again did he?
-
That's just one big assed, black man's opinion....
haha ok gordiano
-
hes smoking crack
-
wolf is the future
-
Ronnie says
"light weight baby!!!"
"aint nuttin but a peanut"
and "yip yip"
as well......
-
Ronnie says the judges got it wrong, that Jay should of lost, and that is after he saw the pictures, and had almost a full year to think about it.
You just quoted every loser.
-
This will be his last Olympia. It's official!
...Source?~ ???
-
So he's risking stepping down as a loser this year.
You had your time, Ronnie. Take it in stride.
-
Good for Ronnie, believes in himself.
Regardless of who wins they should all think this way even Mr.Kamali
x
...I concur. Why even bother competing if you don't feel that you're the best.~ ???
-
...I concur. Why even bother competing if you don't feel that you're the best.~ ???
how about humility....accepting that someone was better than you on that day.....give them props and respect, then try to come back to beat them next year?
-
If the IFBB was smart, they'd give it to Ronnie this year, retire him, then have a wide-open field and lots of excitment for next year's O as well.
-
Ronnie is clearly past his prime and should call it quits after this year
with that said, i can't think of any other male bodybuilder that I would want to work out with..
probably wouldn't be the most technical work out..but it would be one that I would never forget...
I am late to following bodybuilding and Ronnie has always been the Mr. O until last year...
say what you want about him, but atleast concede that he is entertaining in his own right
to be honest, I have seen the unbelivable about 5 times and I haven't gotten tired of it yet.
good luck Ronnie with your life outside of competing..and thanks for the memories..you will always be a champ to me
-
The chad seems to think that all Ronnie has to do is show up and he's gonna win.....
Used to be that that WAS all Ronnie had to do! The only person that could beat Ronnie in 98-99-05 etc... shape was Ronnie. He showed up off his conditioning a few times (01 when Cutler could have beat him, but structure-wise, Ronnie was still superior and his back/ham/glute detail was still phenomenal!), but still managed to eek it out somehow.
But that was then.
Now, he actually is going to "have to work" for it, and doing everything right considering all he's up against with his symmetry issues. :-\
-

He should've done that last year when the Sandow was snatched from him.
-
He should've done that last year when the Sandow was snatched from him.
What's wrong with a man wanting to retire with one more Win under his belt ? Because I assure you that's what Ronnie is trying to do ( at least that's what he would LIKE to do ) ... I can almost guarantee you that Ronnie would've retired last year if he would've one that Sandow ... GUARANTEE !

bullshit. he would have wanted 10. and if he won 10, he'd want 11. there's no way in hell he'd have retired just with 9 if he thought he could win again. that's why he didn't stop after 2005 when he tied haney, he thought he'd get another.
nothing's wrong with it, but let's look at the possibilities:
1) ronnie retires with 8 sandows, going out on top with only one loss in the last eight years of his career.
2) ronnie retires with 8 sandows, after losing 8 contests in a row that saw his placings fall lower and lower.
-
* Sigh * ... ::)
This is how I see it ... Ronnie was tied ( and still is ) with Haney with 8 Sandow's. If he would have won last years' Sandow he would now currently have 9 ... are you with me so far ? Okay, with 9 SANDOW'S he would have been in a class ALL BY HIMSELF so WHY wouldn't he want to retire ... he would've and still can retire on top ... do you understand what I'm saying or is it all bullshit ?
-
Ronnie says the judges got it wrong, that Jay should of lost, and that is after he saw the pictures, and had almost a full year to think about it.
That is just one gorilla's opinion
-
hes smoking crack
yeah, he only won the olympia 8 times... what would he know... ::) ::) ::)
-
Jay narrowly beat Ron at the O, but Ron should have won one of the grand prix's, and Ruhl should have won another. Jay will not repeat this year.
-
Replay's not working!
-
well said karpaasi , i was just gonna post de same thing
it aint working guys
-
Not working for me neither! :(
-
Same here. What the hell???!!!
>:( >:(
-
ain` dis a bitch ???
its cool guys , just heckling ya for nothing , just fix it so we can listen , lookin forward to it !
-
Jay only beat Ronnie because Ronnie was off!!
Ronnie knows that his structure / genetics are far superior to jays and so will always think that he beats him.
-
yeah, he only won the olympia 8 times... what would he know... ::) ::) ::)
all those wins and still can't construct a sentence... so yea..... what would he know? :-\

oh ok.. well thanks for the clarification i have been curious as to why he lost
-
Neither one of them should have won. Dennis Wolf should have won.
Show me pics where Jay or Ronnie look better than this (Wolf from last year's Mr. O):

Completely relaxed. (Isn't this EXACTLY what you'd want to look like? Well, maybe bigger calves)
And while his back was not as good as Jay's, it's not that bad.
-
wolf is the future
Wolfe is blowing his body out and losing his lines exchange for conditioning, This will stop him dead in his tracks and he will fall back to the likes of Markus and Branch and Dennis James. He is not the future- he is rushing and needs to slow down.
TRUE STORY
-
Another great Ronnie quote. "Why complain?" In reference to Shawn Ray whining about the same thing.
-
Did he say Olympia stage? He could go on to win the AC for the next few years and make more cash then at the " O "
The Beef
-
If he loses the Olympia, I would say the best choice for Ronnie would be to sweep up the spring shows winning the Ironman, ASC, and all the rest and then retire. In a way, he would still be retiring on top and I'm pretty confident he could win those shows.
-
Should Tiger Woods quit if he can no longer play as good as his best, but is still kicking ass among the top pro's?
Ronnie should quit bodybuilding, just because he can't win 1st or 2nd place?
Maybe he loves what he does, and enjoys doing the best he can with what he has to work with.
Maybe he does it for himself and how it makes him feel at this point in his life? Ever think of it like that? Trolls such as yourself only seem to be concerned with the competitive record or the legacy left behind.
Maybe if you had ever accomplished something, just once in your life, you might know what it feels like and keep your stupid, stand still/quitting reccomendations to yourself.
Ronnie is clearly past his prime and should call it quits after this year
-
It's working fellas! Lets hear what champ has to say.
-
Wolf looks ridiculous.
-
what a surprise, how many bodybuilders think they should have won or placed higher at a show? ::)
-
Neither one of them should have won. Dennis Wolf should have won.

Jesus, Wolf looks SICK !
-
Just listened to the replay..5 star show Bob & Dan.. Ron was a great guest and Allan Donnelly's montreal wrap was great quality.
-
yet he cannot hold a candle to this beast!
