Title: RESPECT FOR THE PROS
Post by: 2L2Q on September 06, 2007, 05:11:46 AM
This is my first post, and if i could just post once i would say this, ALL the pros should be respected, they are the best in the world, even the last guy in the ranking is one of the best bodybuilders, because he is pro and of millions of bodybuilders just a few are pros.
It's just pathetic when i come in here or in any other forum of bb and i see a bunch of frustrated losers who are nothing  as bodybuilders and maybe they wouldn't even win a local show ,talk shit about some pros, who are the best of the best,i know that this is the only way for them to feel better .
And talk is cheap and talk is all you  do(not getbigger is that way),well stay seated in your computers and bashing all the pros who have success in this business.

Respected for what, monster drug use?  Without it, they wouldn't be "pros".
Keep in mind, most people don't want to be a pro bodybuilder, even if they do lift or have good genetics even.  In short, if I had the genetics to, which I probably don't, and someone said take XYZ and you'll be a pro, I wouldn't do it.  Why, I simply would not value a pro card more than my health or desire that way of living from cycle to cycle...it's really kind of sad.
If someone is a pro, great, but let's not go overboard with "respecting" a profession based on synthol, gear, gh, and g4p. ::)  I respect talent and art forms, such as a great musician, bodybuilders are amusing, rarely inspiring.

first of all, this is not your first post.  it MIGHT be your first post as this 2L2Q.  respect starts with self-respect so if you have members who dont respect themselves what are you going to do about it?

I don't give a shit if some of the members in this forum respect themselves or not, but Respect the pros, the top bodybuilders in the sport, just be polite.
And for those of you who can't give any serious reply so all you do is put your pathetic jokes , you guys better do something with your lives.

The losers seem to think that drugs make the champions, let me tell you, champions are made because of dedication, hard work, genetics and WILL.
Thousands of guys are taking aas, and not even 1% looks like a pro, drugs will never make you a champion.
Play the "if" game is easy, but like i said, talk is cheap.

Sure thing, take drugs out of the equation.  How many "champions" would still remain?
Agreed that few looks like pros, most don't have the genetics or work ethic.
Again, most people who lift don't want to be pro bodybuilders, better yet, few people even care about lifting.  Take myself for example, I enjoy lifting, but could care less about competing.
So, if a person said, you have the genetics to be a top pro, just ingest all this crap...my answer would be no.  That's the point.  Most of society looks at a guy on a regular cycle and thinks poorly of them (juicehead, cheater, shortcutter, etc), no less a pro bodybuilder who's whole existence is based around heavy drug use.  Keep in mind, this board has many juicers on it, so the perception will be jaded.
In the real world, juicer=cheater.  At least in pro bodybuilding, they're all fucked up on it, so it's equal..haha

Last I checked, this a forum.  A forum is where you express your views and opinions on subject.
What a foolish comment.
You could almost say, "Stop being so negative and to each his own." to pretty much 95% of posts on this board.  From now on, keep your pointless replies to yourself.  You may be better off at a Tony Robbins seminar. ;)

There are drugs in the top levels of basically any other sport(in some, like bodybuilding even at the lowest level)
I believe that drugs are worth when you want to compete at the highest level,if you want to make  bodybuilding,or any other sport your life, even tough you can do it using your head and not having major health problems(yes you can).
As for juicer=cheater, when it comes to juice to walk around the beach,a gym,or at a disco,of course, and i guess those are the 99% of the guys who juice in here.

Why would juicing to win a show for $200 be any different?  Competing against another guys cycle?  That's honorable or something or purposeful?  Come on.

I respect Jay Cutler for having stayed friends with MADMAX. That must be hard day in a day out. Waking up and Max has already laid Jays clothes out on the bed, prepared breakfast and even drawn his bath.  But Jay is a gentlemen and has never told him to "get the hell out of my house"...You gotta respect that.  Jay has a lot of tolerance and spared MadMax's feelings...thats very nice of  him.

When they overdo synthol they need to be reminded that its looks silly.
But blatant attacks like when sami the Blacksmith put up a picture of his bike
sqadfatr called him a homo and made racists remarks, that  was not cool at all.
When things like that is quietly accepted or ignored it actually enforces the cyberattacker.

Of course it takes hard work and will, the will do throw your money out on drugs that will only hurt your health. That being said, remind us of why we should respect these guys?

Kind Kamali - Piece of shit physique with an even worse attitude

Tom Prince - Same as above

Ronnie Coleman - Hates white people

Jay Cutler - Threatened to sue when they wanted to ban him after they caught him using diuretics. Also has oil in his biceps, lotsa hard work and dedication there.  ::)

Bertil Fox/Craig Titus - In jail for murder

Kai Green - Fucks grapefruits for money

Lou Ferrigno - Charges $20 for an autograph and waited until his father died (after being disowned) to sue his brother for using their last name in their family business.

Victor Martinez - Convicted drug dealer.

Feel free to add to the list.

i mean the respect for the years of hard work and dedication to get where they are now, just like the top guys in any other sport, and respecting the person always depends of the individual, there are pros who are honarble people, and some others are just pieces of shit.

Do you think working out and taking drugs for 10 years is harder than people who work in factories for 60 hours a week for 40 years?

if someone works 60 hours a week for 40 years in a factory is someone who has no ambitions to be better or to get further.
Anyway this is a BODYBUILDING forum.

I agree, anyone that does that are retards. You said we should respect hard work, so I gave you a comparison.

I know the point you're trying to make but it's useless because it's hard to respect someone that does tons of drugs and works out for a few hours a day and has the right genetics to look better than other people.

I have a lot of respect for the pros, but i couldn't be bothered to try and convince people to do the same. You can tell them that gear isn't some magic potion and you still have to work very hard whilst on them, that training and eating lots of healthy food is a lot harder than they could imagine, and that they are the hardest working and moist dedicated athletes in the world. But you would be wasting your time, because most of the people on this board will never respect them, so if you do respect them, great, but don't get pissed off because most people here don't.

But, for what is a pro to be respected, shooting monster amount of drugs??

I rather see it like this: I have way more respect for someone who manages a job and a family AND busts his ass off in the gym to look good, even if he would never go on stage.

Living for doing drugs and going to the gym is simply retarded. If your only goal in life is big arms you miss a hell of a lot.

Ok basically you are right in all you said,i really don't care if most of the people don't respect the pros, but what realy piss me off is when i come in here and all i see are negative comments about the pros, mostly in their phsysiques, what i mean is how these guys can talk shit about jay cutler's body, he is the best in the world and they are nobodies.
