Judge strikes down part of Patriot Act

NEW YORK - A federal judge struck down a key part of the USA Patriot Act on Thursday in a ruling that defended the need for judicial oversight of laws and bashed Congress for passing a law that makes possible "far-reaching invasions of liberty."

I cannot believe how dems have bent over and taken it up the ass.  They shure pretended to give a shit, but in the end, it looks like they're they're fully willing participants with the republicans on this bullshit.

Unfortunately, I think you are right.  There are few statesmen left in Congress.
