Title: Montreal Pro: Callouts from Prejudging and Predictions
Post by: Stormcloud on September 08, 2007, 02:16:17 PM
This contest was actually nice to be at, the first one in a while.  There are twenty two competitors here, only three to qualify for the Olympia in three weeks.

Prejuding Callouts are as follows

First Callout - Cormier, Suavage, Charles, Taylor, Jackson
Second Callout - Abiad, Kamali, Alves, Stubbs
Third Callout - Voyer, Asiedo, Nemat, Long
Fourth Callout - Charles, Alves, Suavage, Abiad
Fifth Callout - Cormier, Taylor, Abiad, Alves, Jackson
Sixth Callout - Charles, Jackson, Taylor, Cormier
Seventh Callout - Long, Stubbs, Sauvage, Asiedo

The competitors in order were as follows

Simone Voyer
Qunicy Taylor
Mike Asiedo
Danille Seccuricci
Darrem Charles
Patrick Skailes
King Kamali
Steve Nemat
Frederick Suavage
Chris Cormier
Fouad Abiad
Troy Alves
Jocelyn Peltier
Amin Faour
Tommy Thorvildsen
Tua Dexter
Fidel Clark
Troy Brown
Johhny Jackson
Joel Subbs
Arnaud Poassant
Jeff Box Long
Christian Luvalvy

I think that Chris Cormier is going to win this show. He is not at his all time best, but they are rooting for Chris! Quincy Taylor will take second, and Darrem Charles third. Jonnie Jackson will be fourth, and Frederick Suavage will be 5th. Troy Alves should be sixth. Fouad Abiad should be seventh. Joel Stubbs in eighth place, and King Kamali in ninth place. Steve Nemat in tenth.

Cormier will get third behind Charles and Jackson, then improve for the Olympia (not sharp enough for this show).

Cormier, QT, Jackson, Alves, Charles all look solid as usual.

Cormier, Fouad and the rusty jeffers look-a-like have the best looking physiques on stage (ie, what most people would want to look like)

Kamali won't place.

Cormier's legs look tiny here.  Still have him and Jackson as 1 and 2 though.

Based on the pix and callouts, you gotta put Sauvage in the top 3.  QT or Dareem will probably take 1st place.  Cormier is a bit too soft in the glutes and hams.

A month ago, we thought this line up would be easy to get into the O. Now we see just how hard it is to qualify for the O, with Chris Cormier, Darrem Charles, and Johnnie Jackson here. Quincy Taylor should get it,  but you never know...

Next show after this is the AC, and I think there is the Santa Susanna in Europe.

1. Are his right leg and pec that much bigger than his left as they seem?

2. The guy may not have a protruding gut, but you can show movies on his stomach!!!

He's so massive that the differences are really neglible.

There's a big % difference between 2 & 3, but very little % difference between 1002 & 1003.

His asymmetry isn't that bad, it's definitely nowhere near Cutler's level.......he just doesn't have a very good physique.

One pec looks to be about a full cup size larger than the other.  Should do well in the symmetry round.

Not a nice physique at all. Legs and calves are small (for him), chest is funny and having virtually no ab shape or definition during the front shots ruins his chances of making an impact in the big shows. Will always go OK in smaller shows, just due to the fact hes like what, 320lbs?

Darrem deserved it.

Alves got completely fucked...who in the IFBB did he piss off?

Jackson has NO calves and should be laughed off the stage.

Cormier also is in the right place, he didnt bring his legs.

-whoever the jackass is who posts here that works with fatmali should be banned. they are both a huge joke.

That's truly sad...apparently judges go for size and conditioning more then anything else.....when QT beats somebody like Cormier and Troy, the definition of bodybuilding is you ask me in terms of symmetry, balance and aesthetics(  I know a case could be made that they were not as sharp as QT) ....there's nothing left to be said.. :'(
