They're scam, just buy some BCAA for the money.
THey won't build muscle anyways.

donkey's right aboutthem not being very anabolic.
beta-alanine and creatine are proven supplements though and I have been taking horsepower for a month, i like it

I would avoid Horsepower at all costs, it contains glycocyamine!! I found the best preworkout "combo" supps are as follows:
Millenium Ragnarok (Blue Raz is fecking delicious!!!)
Scivation VasoCharge/ Primaforce Primal N2O (they are both the same)
Dymatize Xpand (CHERRY LIMEAIDE FOR THE WIN!!!)
Axis Smash (Blue Raz kicks ass too! No pimp though)

you mean because of:
If glycocyamine does get past the liver intact, the effects will probably not be desirable. The fact that it competitively inhibits creatine transport is not the only reason. Glycocyamine is also transported across the blood brain barrier (BBB). This may be associated with a variety of negative effects, and the most well-known property of GAA in the brain is as a convulsant [1, 5-7]. GAA increases the production of reactive oxygen species (ROS) in the brain [1]. Other mechanisms of neurotoxicity include inhibition of Na+,K+-ATPase, decreased membrane fluidity, and interaction with the GABA-A receptor [8-9]. It is unknown whether these effects are relevant at doses used for supplementation, but it seems unlikely. They primarily become a problem in GAMT deficiency, which results in both elevated brain GAA and creatine deficiency. Still, those with a history of epilepsy should definitely stay away from glycocyamine.
i am in good health, not to worry

so?
Apparently you are not aware of glycocyamine effects on the body?

DK is right when he mentions that none of those are preworkout supps are very anabolic, and prob not gonna make you huge. However, they make for great addition to the workout and WILL provide extra energy, pump, and strength. Out of the 2 you mentioned i prefer Horsepower. 1st its non stimulant, which makes it great for night trainers. 2nd it contains beta alanine which in my experience will prevent fatique by increasing the production of carnosine. Not trying to talk smack, but steer clear of muscletech products, they are notorious for not living up to the hype. Same goes for BSN. Note that any preworkout that uses Cee or kre alkalyn wont taste as good as some others (noexplode, superpump, etc) which use much less effecient creatines.Cee is hard to falvor and krealkalyn smells like sulfur. But they work, and we all gave up taste along time ago...right? Horsepower is top notch imo.
