I don't have the schedule to train twice a day, so when I'm on I train once but twice as long, or more body parts.. that way I can hit the same bodypart twice a week and still recover well enough.

Recovery from 2X is a Major issue. Maybe calves or abs, or Biceps only.
Or Lighter assistance work to just pump blood in and speed recovery.
Take Superman to pull off legs and chest same day. Too much.
But Everyone's different. Experiment, but easy to overtrain w/ 2X.

Nope and i wouldn't even if i had the time.
I don't train any different on cycle, i just use heavier weights.

while on...theoretically if i had the time...i would train 2X a day
1st visit would be my primary muscle group (ex. chest)
2nd visit would be my secondaries...(triceps)
2nd visit would include either cardio...or calves and abs....

What he said.

There is no need to exercise any more when your "on" as your intensity with the weights will increase. If you do you'll further break down the body and overtrain. Rest is critical.

Once a day, not even every day because of my work schedule.
I train based on how I feel, and considering the length of my days........it usually works out to every other day with cardio optional.

Same here. I also generally train 4-6 times a week depending on what my schedule allows.

once every couple days. my use for gear is simple, it helps me gain while having to work 10 hr days of construction and other activities besides weightlifting

Aint that the real sheit.
Ive been in a rubber rain suit (Acid pressure washing) for weeks in 90 degree Temps, and not lost a pound of BW.
ANY normal guy would melt down Big Time doing that sort of super-abusive work.
