There should be no pro girl from Denmark with that name?
Or have I missed something..

Maiken is a pro from Denmark, she competed at the Jan Tana several years ago ....

Ground breaking report, you seem lost since being outed as a farse, but you know... I'm the one that's lost, Stephen...Empty, I should say. All my life I wanted the Red Sox to win the World Series. It was like a quest, you know? Something burning inside. And now the bastards are going to do it again. And I feel like, I don't know, like my pilot light went out...What do we do now?

Old school hotness - I was lucky enough to meet her at the Jan Tana 9-10 years ago (The Charlotte Years) and she remains one of the most unforgettable women I've ever met.

Best of luck to all the ladies competing and to Huong and April on their PRO debuts!!!!!
-
Interesting.
From FigureRx's updated contest preview:
"Crossover athlete and hair stylist April Fortier will also be making her IFBB pro debut in her home area. April went pro by winning Figure Class D at this year's USA championships (Link to contest report), after also competing in fitness for several shows throughout the year. April has taken the plunge and signed with JMP / FMG, so she will have the political connections to potentially do very well at this show, especially in California where the IFBB politics can end up being very prevalent. "
JM manages more than April in this show but you felt the need to draw attention to her why? Also curious what's the rationale with the statement about "IFBB politics" being more prevalent in California.
-
Who is April Fortier?
Is she hot?
Is she the next big thing in IFBB figure??

Ah the beauty of the internet.
-
Lift - I'd initially planned to be there, but because there was a delay in closing on my home >:(, I'm just now in the middle of my move.
So, as of Thursday evening, it's a toss-up - will depend on how much I'm able to get done tomorrow. Hope to make it there!

Ron and I chatted with JC Lopez for awhile last night about his contracts, his photos and a number of other things. We talked candidly about a number of things and despite my distaste for JC's covers, he's a aight. I give him props for answering our questions and not hiding behind the keyboard.
Ron will give ya the scoop on his interview and a hilarious video with him. JC's impersonation of Tre is funny as hell. Hopefully Tre shows up so we can get the two of them on camera together (no, no wrestling each other Tre). ;D
-
Won't happen. Ended up with too much to do and no one confirmed that L-Mo actually made it here.
But, nice to see that whoever is protecting him has gotten to you and Ron, too.
Hope everyone is enjoying the show.

Michelle Flake comes in from Arkansas and wins her first show. One would think those politics would have helped Mary Jo this weekend, since she's from California. All be damned if April didn't land smack dab in the middle of the line-up. :-\ Thanks for proving my point when clowns like you wish to cry "politics" show how clueless you are. What about Darlina who qualified for the Olympia and has no "connections"? Oh, I guess they must have gotten one right. ::)
Hope you don't feel "attacked" again Stephen.
-
Congrats to Momma Flake for her first pro win and qualifying for the Olympia. She looked awesome. Darlina and Mary Jo Cooke are also qualified for next year's Olympia. Watch out in Kentucky... Michelle Flake will be looking to repeat and Mary Jo will set out to end her Bride's Maid Streak.
Keep your eye on Sherrie Salvadori who looks great and could find herself in the mix of the top callouts next week.
-
Thank you Isaac for your continuous updates on the show fo those of us who could not be there :(.
