Does the bible teach that we are not to defend ourselves? When do we turn the other cheek and/or when do we fight back?

We're not supposed to defend ourselves. The act of being nice to those who hurts us, can ultimately lead them to insight, and save their souls. Which is more important than our own suffering here on earth.

Do you have some religious affiliation or are you emulating a Christian?
