He lacks the separation he once had. If you look closely (not even that close) he has no separation in his arm/delt tie in.

Alves has a sensational physique.

Wide shoulders, tight waist, great shape and flawless lines, he really is an asset to the sport.

his back is lacking, but everything else comes as close to art as the human form can be

One of the few beautiful physiques left in IFBB.

Huge arms for his frame. I'm tired of mass monsters with delts and back and legs that dwarf their arms.

looks as sharp as ever there,to the "glute"lovers he has some seperation that usually gets mentioned he has a lack off.upper back is great has that trap to mid back tie in not too many bbers have .

how do you stay motivated to train knowing that you will only make top 5 in any show

I wonder the same thing. What about guys like Jason Arntz? The guy's been training as a pro for years and never even places top 5. How do guys like him keep dieting for contests?
