Title: Melvin Anthony 4th in Atlantic City
Post by: 240 is Back on September 16, 2007, 11:04:17 AM: Chic predicted Melvin wouldn't peak for the AC, he was right. Melvin looked good, but you can tell he didn't pull out all the stops. While you gotta admire his focus on the O, doesn't it make you a little reminiscent of the days when a guy would win show after show? Flex Wheeler or Levrone come to mind. Guys who would turn pro, enter whatever contest was up ahead, and just win the shit out of them. I guess Melvin knows what he's doing tho.

Now he is worth less than them on the market and will also place most likely behind them at the Big O. Should have skipped this fukkin worthless show, but I bet he knows that now himself.

Probably the Muscletech contract. I don't think Melvin is taking it too hard and is using this as an Olympia tune-up.

Did his cupp company good by showing. nobody remember who wins these little shows anyway in a month. he knows he could have done the show, the other 3 guys were off, and he'd steal ten grand. why not give it a shot?
