man this is the worst steven segal movie ive ever seen, i watched the last half on tv and fuck they made segal look like a ...a...regular man! he spent the whole time being chased, getting shot, and showing fear in general, wtf??????
he didnt even snap anyone's arm >:(
i wonder how much the producers had to pay him to show restraint when you know he probably wanted to just do his thing and beat the shit out of all those gang bangers and snap their limbs. why did they have him hold back?

unfortunately steven has gone downhill...

I rather liked it. That Michael Jai White ( I think this is his name ? ) guy was JACKED ! I remember seeing this Movie a few years back and being completely blown away by this guy's size. Sure, not one of Steven's BETTER Movies, but I still thought it was pretty damn good Movie.

When you start at the top of the mountain and go down a bit, you're still pretty fucking high up there!

Segal had a great formula. I think he may have let the power got to his head when he began using his films as a vehicle to voice his “save the world” rhetoric.
Whether you agree or not, people generally don’t like to be preached to, especially when watching a movie.
I also don’t think that doing the “buddy” cop films with Wayans, etc. worked out as well as the producers had hoped.
He should never have messed with the success.

Guess the movie.
How do you change the essence of a man?

Hard to Kill?

Hard to Kill?
No, think Gas, man!

On Deadly Ground?
Or was that oil?

Correct. The Gas man was a reference to the character he played in Dumb and Dumber.

I prefer Under Seige I and II. I also like the one where he fucks up all the Jamaicans.

I know what you mean, but it just goes to show how talented Segal is as an actor that he can "pretend" to be a mere mortal.
cool movie though with dmx and all those juiced up cops.
the end credits with Anthony Anderson & Tom Arnold talking about beating off is fkn hilarious

I'm not sure Steven was altogether concentrating on the film, ...or for that matter the entire cast & crew.
We had a stunt man die during the making of 'Exit Wounds', ...ironically, from "exit wounds" he incurred while rolling out the back of a van. There was a definate pall cast over the making of the film. RIP Chris :'(
