Yeah this is the real deal.

That guy would be bashed on by most powerlifters as he's not following the new standard in powerlifting rules:
1. He's not using a high tech inzer squat suit.
2. He's not using a belt.
3. He's walking the weight out and not using a monolift.
4. He doesn't have a 50" waist.
5. He's going super deep.
6. He uses a standard stance and not a ultra wide foot pointed out stance.
Sorry im just not impressed ;D

21 yr old, wtf? :D
-
Why powerlifting has fallen away from real squats is beyond me.
That is one of the most impressive squats i've seen.

Everyone can..
I mean if people can type amazing claims, and claim this and that out of obscure photos, I'm sure everything is possible.
-

How would you rank Hossien in terms of strongest men in the world, Zack?
And do answer to this post, please, absolut boy.. I mean you seem so eagar to show your knowledge in topics where you are not expected to show anything(NFL TOPICS); give an opinion in this case.

right now, in terms of explosive power, he has no equal. none.
EDIT: Mark henry in the recent past (10 yrs), perhaps.

He's has without a doubt the biggest dynamic strength in the world, ie he's very explosive.
Far above anyone else.
IMO, it's either him or Savickas. Both are dominant, and both are extremely impressive in what they do.
Pick either one. I really can't.
There are currently no powerlifters that compare with either. When Brian Siders (arguably the best powerlifter in the world) competed in the Hummer Deadlift against Savickas, he was soundly beaten.
-
Damn, can you imagine powerlifters having to perform squats in that manner?? I have a feeling a few of the "big" squatters would have declining numbers :-[
-
Before or after you benched 585 for a single?
535...it was 535, lets get that straight :D
-
By looking at the other links for his videos he is an Olympic style weightlifter, which means that for him training with widestance half rep movements is absolutely useless. I was never a big fan of powerlifting I always considered Olympic weightlifters to be a lot more impressive. It's one thing to take a maximum poundage and move it two inches from lockout to lockout, taking a maximum poundage and getting off the ground and above your head takes not only strength but also perfect technique. That guys squat strength is very impressive.

Dimas workout...

The coach is a fuckin loon if he expects anyone to believe his body is capable of moving over 400 pounds in bench without proof.

hahahaha, he claimed he did it raw at a bodyweight of 185. ::)
-
NOW IF THAT SHIT ISN'T MOTIVATING AS HELL YOU DON'T LOVE LIFTING!!!
notice all you light weight for high rep queens..they don't make plates in pink. Get under some damn weight and your legs will grow! AND just look at his huge waist and blocky build from all those heavy squats!!! :o ::) ::)
i think i remember that being someone's valid reason as to not squat..
-
Olympic lifters can do some very impressive feats when it comes to squatting. That is a great effort and indicative of what the best Olympic lifters can do.

Well, in an artical I was in in the 1981 Muscle Digest, it said at the age of 19, I did a 400lb bench. Bix has the artical.
-
bullshit.
It's killing you isn't it?
-
Coach, what if your real name?
Chris
-
Fantastic squat!!!! I wonder how much can he do in deadlift and bench press...
-
impressive
-
he is only 21 or 22 he trained at my gym in ecuador, he would regularly do 500 pound deadlifts and squats for reps, and competes for ecuador in the national olimpic powerlifting team, i think he just took second in the panamericanos at rio...
