Man I didn't know there were so many Megadeth fans here, I'm always getting a little embarrassed when people ask me what music I like, most people have no idea of the pure genius of the lyrics and songs, they think of heavy metal as dumb headbangers...
I mean take the lyrics from A Tout Le Monde for example, the first time I read them (my English wasn't that good at that time) I nearly cried they are so sad and haunting but the genius is that the music itself is in the middle of being sad, what I mean with that is any other band would have used piano or sad slow guitar solos but not Megadeth the mix of French and English just pure phantastic and gets me everytime i listen to it again.
A Tout Le Monde
Dont remember where I was
I realized life was a game
The more seriously I took things
The harder the rules became
I had no idea what itd cost
My life passed before my eyes
I found out how little I accomplished
All my plans denied
So as you read this know my friends
Id love to stay with you all
Please smile when you think of me
My bodys gone thats all
A tout le monde
A tout les amis
Je vous aime
Je dois partir
"À tout le monde"
To everyone (litt. "To all the world")
"À tous mes amis"
To all my friends
"Je vous aime"
I love you (plural)
"Je dois partir"
I must leave
There are the last words
Ill ever speak
And theyll set me free
If my heart was still alive
I know it would surely break
And my memories left with you
Theres nothing more to say
Moving on is a simple thing
What it leaves behind is hard
You know the sleeping feel no more pain
And the living are scarred

nothing to be embarrassed about bro...unlike rappers, most heavy metal musicians actually have musical talent and are well-spoken and smarter in interviews. :D

I'm not a big fan of Rap, by any means, but come now ... let's NOT Stereo-Type ... it get's us absolutely nowhere. At any rate, my Favorite Megadeth song is " Sweating Bullets ".

You stupid? I'm 33 years of age I don't watch MTV for a long time kiddo, and hang on are they even airing Megadeth on MTV anymore?
How can you argue with taste?
I like the songs you dont I like them for different reason you don't like them, you calling me "not a fan" ::) makes you sound like a "rehab".
What do you have to do to be a "real fan" pick the songs you like? rehab ::)

If you got an internet imago, or worse a real one, to maintain you just cannot like anything with a trace of melody.
I like newer Megadet more than older. Le monde is good, Symphony is good, Crush'em is good, Breadline is good...

Wow Stark... Is any of that before their Symphony of Destruction album?
I thought all of their previous stuff was better.
5. Symphony of Destruction (I'll put it in the top 5)
4. Hanger 18
3. Peace Sells... But who's buying.
2. Holy Wars... The Punishment's Due.
1. My last words (Dual Guitars at the beginning crush all)

No... probably since their second or 3rd.
I am 32 years old and started listening to them in the 1985 time frame.

haha I bet "stark" claims to have seen Dave Mustaine when he was still playing rocker clubs w/ Metallica back in '83 ::)
hey "stark", what did you think of 'deth's latest album?

If I may interject, I actually really like UA....definitely a step in the right direction as far as getting closer to their classic shredding sound. I would have preferred they left the "A Tout Le Monde" remake off, as it didn't seem to fit in the rest of the songs at all (I never really liked the original version anyway).
What do you think of the new lineup?

Well, Megadeth has been through so many lineup changes over the years, it doesn't really matter... As long as Dave is there, it'll usually kick ass.
Personally I like UA, Sleepwalker and Gears of War are excellent works.
I'm with you, I've never liked A Tout Le Monde... as a matter of fact, the Youthanasia album was probably my least favorite. Aside from Elysian Fields and Killing Road I really didn't think much of it.

You still think you cannot be a fan unless you have been listening to Megadeth since 1985 Killing is my business? that's pretty sad to be honest, kinda geekish.

In My Darkest Hour
But they have been shit for ages. First four albums were good. The rest are shit. Mustaine is a whiny bitch as well.

No I did not say that
I said that to only inlcude 1 song from their first 4 (and none from RIP) means you're a bandwagon fan
Like only liking Metallica after their Black album came out
