the principle is simple.
take equal part of watter and natural apple juice and poor enough in a small pan to cover the chicken, season with cinnamon and maybe a bit of star anis and then bake at 250F for 3-4 hours turning the chicken once.
you can use pork chops, pork fillet, any cut of chicken bonelss or not...
it's cheap, healthy and as a bonus the house smells awesome
do a google recipe search and you'll find many recipes like this, because the apple juice is acidic it tenderizes the meat
hell you can even use it as a marinade overnight before cooking

does the chicken end up with a strong taste like apples?

no, more of a mild sweetness... part of the goal is to thicken the apple sauce so that it becomes a glazing agent with just a bit left to pour on the rice like gravy

One i've been having around an hour after training, is
1 pack of wholeweat noodles (small)
3 whole boiled eggs (free range/organic)
1 cup of frozen veggies (mainly brocolli and cauliflower)
put all in a bowl with the eggs on the side, and eat with hot sauce!!!
Around 750 kcals and great nutrition for a small meal.

^^^ im going to try that ....anything with hotsauce = good ;D
-
(2) scrambled egg whites and salmon
Never thought of that combo.
Sounds good.
How do you prepare/cook the salmon?
-
I get the pre-cooked stuff at the supermarket (wild only), and slice it up into little cubes, interspersed with egg whites as I scramble. Add a little tobasco!

Thanks, man.
