Title: Gym owning by the manager ( not me)
Post by: akers1021 on October 04, 2007, 03:48:28 PM
So this 160lb 5'8" hispanic guy I have talked about before that wears the follwing:

Bandana
Hat
Sunglasses
Otomix shoes
Wraps
Straps
3 shirts
shorts and pants over them....

Was at the gym this morning.  I have not seent his guy in about 6 months and though he was training somwhere else.

Anyways this morning he did his typical 1/8 rep squats with 225 then procedes to take 80 lb dumbells down the steps ( we have a 2 story gym) and starts heading for the front door.

I am amazed at what I am seeing as I just think he is going to steal them.  HE goes outside in the parking lot and it had begun to sprinkle slightly.  I was just floored when this clown TRIES to do walking lunges outside with 80 lb dumbells..hahahahahaha

About 10 minutes later the gym manager showed up and he was still outside.  This gym is a typical corporate RULED gym.   He goes outside and tells the beancounter to get back in the gym as they do not allow anybody to take weights outside and did he realize it was raining?.   I was watching all of this and this damn idiot actually ask the manager if he had ever seen Ronnie Coleman's videos.  He just wanted to try some of his stuff to see if he could get huge!!  bwhahahahahahah!!!

This had to be the funniest shit I have ever seen happen at a gym live!!

Hardcore!!  Lunges in the rain with 80 lb dumbells11 BBOOOOMMMMMMM!!!!

it's very possible but not by the clown in akers story, i saw a very hard training young 20 year old kid who is not very big at all do 8 DEEP reps per leg standing in place with a pair of 95's.

"beancounter"?  Is that your term for a mexican or are you calling him an accountant.  Just so that you get your slurs accurate, mexicans are referred to as "beaners."  Beancounters are accountants.

Thank GOD my Gym doesn't have those type of Rules. We're strict, but not quite THAT strict ... and please don't misunderstand me ... I don't find anything wrong with your Gym Rules, however, I LOVE doing Outdoor Lunges ! Kills the Quads !!
