Note the rectangle on his upper thigh/glute: Is this skin grafting? How does this kind of grafting work? If you take skin from one part of the body and place it on another, doesn’t that leave one part of the body skinless?

Looks to me like he an operation were he needed skin, they have these nasty tools (looks like a cheese grader) and they take skin of a part that is not that visible to transplant it somewhere else.

my father had skin grafting like 10 years ago, they cut out a huge chunk of skin from his thigh to put on his arm, you can still see the whole cutout area on the thigh but not much scar on the arm.
