The story is this:
Kevin used to squat a lot when he was younger - but then he injured his back which left him unable to do squats.
Levrone is one of my favorites, and his legs were pretty awesome back then -and word has it he was quite a strong squatter.
Anyone have any vids or pics?
there's been another thread about this but there weren't many replies so thought I'd give it a new chance.

i think rick albatra may know...

I have some pics where he trains legs with Porter Cortell, but I doubt he used the stance he uses in that vid for regular squats (extremely narrow foot stance).

He used to get up to 700 lbs on squats (6-10) reps...

"I can't do squats because of an injury" is bullshiet. I hear it everythime in the gym, my back is bad, my knees are bad ect ect, but for some reason they can do every other legexercise. If u have a ingury, rest! Then start lifting light and slowely increase the weights. If your knee hurt, take a rest for 2 weeks and then go on, its not a reason for the shit for the rest of your life. How come almost every powerlifter get back after an ingury???
Pain is just a way for the body to say: Ok, I just need a little bit more time to recover.

i don't know...pretty much everytime I squat nowadays, I herniate a disc. This is a long standing injury that I have had since I was 15. Sometimes I wonder how good regular back squats are-something seems very strange about holding several hundred pounds on your back and directly compressing your spine.
