Title: Ben Johnson beating Carl Lewis. So what if he was using Winstrol....

This. Your Colorado testing center was much better at giving athletes their clearance times. I assume it still is. :-\

since olympic athletes are given blood test and some of the blood is/are warehoused. What happens if a test in the future reveal anomallies?

would they remove someone's name from the record book for something that is say 20 years old?

Several Team members from his college days told coaches he was using steroids. The coaches told them to never mention that again if they wanted to play for U of H.

ALL athletes juice, some just get caught while others get away with it. it happens in every sport and has been for 50 years. this is why i hate it when a guy gets busted for using and everyone pisses on him, sure Ben cheated(on a level playing field) but he's only an asshole because he got caught.

The book ; " Speed Trap" by Ben Johnson's coach Charlie Francis, goes into great detail on this .
Ben was guilty of useing a fair amount of drugs , however , that is the norm with world class sprinters.

These are really good questions. I think that is where the testing protocols are heading. I would assume tho the masking agents will try to take this into account. How successful they are remains to be seen.

a football player test positive for a "band substance" and he gets a 4 game suspension and generally the news paper/media ignores it

a baseball player test positive and the world stops, same for track and field. So far the NBA has been given a pass on this as well, same for college football
