I know this is a goosip area, but my question wasn't answered in the training area. I've been training about 4 years now and have done a few shows.
Problem is, my back is awful. Just terrible. I'm the first to admit it. I look like a 40 pound turtle wearing a six pound shell. My traps couldn't catch a fruitfly. My lumbar couldn't hold up a single ornament, much less a Christmas tree. My... well, you get the idea. Help!

Props to you for admitting that you have the shittiest back that's ever walked onto a bodybuilding stage. Admitting your back sucks is the first step.
Now let's help you to fix your back, or lack of.
First let me ask you this. Have you ever actually worked your back? Even once?
I know that's a little harsh but you honestly have the back of a 12 year old. A 12 year old girl.

I don't think your back is to out of porportion with the rest of your body, but if you feel so then deadlift like there is no tomarrow. I think backs look ten time sicker the lower you drop your bodyfat, so you want an honest opinion, from what I gather from that picture, you should have lost maybe another 8-10 pounds and that would have done the trick for your back.

Your lat insertions are low as shit, lucky bastard. Rows with solid form and deadlifts, from the floor or the rack will help immensely. Also, in place of the deadlifts, goodmornings with as many different bars (straight, cambered, Safety Squat, etc) will help, and not be as big of a drain on your CNS. DC style stretching will do great things to help with your width and allow you to rotate your scapula more outwards, enhancing the appearance of width.

I think you need to outline what you currently do (and what you have done before) as it is hard for me to understand why you need someone to spoonfeed you this information. Everybody knows that deads, pullups/chins and rows are going to build the back up. Unless you have exhausted those three avenues there is no reason to be asking any questions.

Dead lifts , bent over rows , pull ups.
Move the weight with your back, not your arms. Pullups to the upper chest slow and controlled. If that does not work jump of a bridge.

honestly it looks like it fits the rest of your body from the back side!
plus you look to be over 5% bf in that pic , get down to 3% and you should get a better idea what your dealing with!
