Title: Fat Burners
Post by: mish1234 on October 10, 2007, 06:35:45 PM
I've never really taken any fat burners...anyone have any favourites that they've used with success?

I'm leaving for Cuba in January and would like to take something, in combination with my workouts, to help me lean me.
I'm 5'3, 125 lbs. Goal = to shred about 15lbs of body fat in next 3 months.

Thanks!

Cardio... Cardio... Cardio...

Rub a little peanut butter behind your ears, ...and let Miggly chase you around for a bit.

that oughta get the metabolism revved up to burn off those fat cells in no time.  ;D

ps - Can you travel to Cuba without the government being pissed off at you?

Hi mish!

I recently took one Lipo6x before my morning workout and seemed to have a good amount of energy for my workout and wasn't ravenous during the day.

Most OTC fat burners are generally a waste of money, but you may find a few here and there that are effective.  Alot of them can be effective in terms of increasing energy and curbing your appetite, but those usually come with alot of jitters, which I hate.

Ephedra is the best, but it makes me super jittery and nauseous.  I can't hang with it.

I've never tried Lipo6 but I have heard pretty good things about it.

A good dose of green tea extract combined with about 1500 mg of L Carnitine before a cardio session and/or workout works pretty well.

I prefer the Gaspari products.  I LOVED the combination of Third Degree Burn and Thyrotabs for fat burning, about 6 weeks is all you need.  They discontinued Third Degree Burn this year (I squirrelled away two bottles for next year's contest prep!  ;D), but they have replaced it with something called Cytolean I think.  I have not tried it, but I've heard it makes you feel like you are high.  I wouldn't combine the cytolean and the thyrotabs, that may be a bit much.

 :)

Sweet...If you guys really got some, I need to know if it's like ephedra before I order it b/c if it is, I will have a bottle to give away.
If it's more like ecstasy, then I might be able to handle that.   :D

Mish, I could be misreading you, so if so my apologies, but if you are hitting Cuba for the full 3 months, make sure you take a full supply of what ever fat burner, and anything else you want [vitamins, protein etc]...as once you get there there will probably not be any access to more of any decent standard.

Hey! I'm actually LEAVING in 3 months, but will only be in Cuba for 2 weeks (Jan 2008). I was just wondering if people have used a specific supplement/fat burner/etc that kicked ass for em'.
