Independent of your religous lunacy Loco I actually support Ron Paul and whilst I do not agree with everything he says and wishes (the arbortion issue, gun regulation) I agree with a good deal of it. In particular I am very attracted to his foreign policy as an expat. I don't live in the states but have lived in countries occupied by American military forces (as I do now). Philosophically I have Libertarian leanings. If he were to get the Republican nomination (which he won't) I would certainly vote for him. Too bad his chances are almost nil, nevermind the rigged elections.

At least we agree on some things. Religion has nothing to do with it. I just like how Ron Paul is all about the U.S. Constitution, and I like his honesty, his integrity and his good reputation.

Part of his problem is a lack of charisma. Similar to Wes Clark. Good message and background. Poor salesman.

That's not good enough the win the presidency. He has to be able to sell his message and himself. Why do you think Fred Thompson became an instant frontrunner? The man has shown in the first weeks of his campaign that he doesn't know his head from his rear end, but he has already left Ron Paul in the dust in the polls.

Awesome to see you admit that about Thompson. Props for your honesty.
I specifically remmeber you (my favorite combatant here) saying that Thompson was the best choice because of his "strong leadership", (Forgive my paraphrasing, however you said it).
Do you still feel he is a "strong leader" and if so, why? thanks!

I never called Thompson the "best choice." I don't recall ever expressing an opinion about Thompson as a "strong leader," because I know very little about him. I want to see him in a debate and read more about where he stands on issues before I form an opinion about his leadership potential.

First, you invented facts and attributed them to me, just we get that straight.
Second, I don't know if Thompson is uninformed or just stupid. He can learn, just like anyone else. He's no less experienced than Obama or Hillary, but if he continues down the path he started when he entered the race, then he probably won't get my vote.

I agree. I am actually a Libertarian but Ron Paul is our best choice IMO.
