Title: pm question answered: holding too much water
Post by: gh15 on October 11, 2007, 08:46:09 PM
[quote author=
Hi gh15, this is the fourth time I've tried messaging you about this, hopefully this time you reply.. if you post this on the forum, please take my name off the post..

I'm an experienced user, have done about 12 good solid cycles, but lately (last few years) I've noticed I hold a ton of water with anything I do (I usually only do human grade) nolvadex and arimidex don't seem to help anymore. I don't really eat 100% clean, I love food so I eat a lot but I'm naturally meso so I stay pretty lean when off no matter what I eat.  But even on 250mg of sust, or 500mg a week I hold a ton of water (mostly in my ankles) and can't get rid of it no matter what. I always use clen when I'm on as well and that doesn't help either. I  don't know what to do about this anymore, I love being on but can't deal with the water.

My typical cycle looks like this:

sustanon 500mg a week
eq 400mg a week
winstrol 50mg ED
clen .4-.8mcg ED

Please help!
[/quote]

drop the winstrol,,bulking with winstrol = no big lifts and too stiff for lifting big weight correctly

letrozole and halo
can add little nolvadex if feels you becoming a girl but it usually only in the head ;)

Yeah but why is it that he's holding more water now than in previous cycles?  Got any theories as to why that's happening?

diet should be somewhat clean cant eat junk none stop it never works,,got to maintain clean diet and cheat from time to time depending on genetic composition,,you can increase dose on arimidex and letrozole and if you really hold tons of water get duretic and work it in for couple days and you will see if its fat or water,,make sure its potassium sparing one so you dont get out flat as an iron- marshmelo board

i'd say dietary.

try a ketogenic diet and watch your sodium.

if that doesnt make the water less of an issue (which it should) try a mild diuretic.

try manipulating your diet first though. diuretics should always be a last resort.

Not that I have any business posting on this subject
but I would definately get the kidneys and liver checked out
by a doc. Fluid retention in the lower legs/ankles is never a good sign.

sust i would use depending on how prone you are to acne,,if you dont have problem with it as an amatuer bodybuilder id use 1 amp every 3-5 days ,,if youre prone to acne id use it every second day or every day one amp,,results should be the same for serious lifters but you want the feeling and sides to be the same too

What are you doing on my computer? Did I give you permission to come in my house? No I didn't. Now take your ass back outside and finish cutting my grass. Do it right or you will have to do it again. You will get a break when I say so. Get to work my little bitch.

listen grampa.

truthfully, how long you have till your next show is of no concern to me. however, between the pics bast posted (that you cried to have taken down...hmm...wonder why...lol) and the pics you posted of your flabby back, when your show is should be more of a concern of yours.

i do wish you the best of luck come contest day. it takes balls to get up there- especially when you are not in condition. just dont delude yourself. your behind. you know it.

deny it all you want. it wont be me up there making a mockery of myself.

those pics, as good as they are, were a long time ago. today is today. no one cares about yesterday.

LOL...k!

Tell ya what. The show I'm doing is a pretty big National qualifier, If I take last (in any of the classes, I'm doing Open and Masters) or even place 4-5th then you can say I'm delusional and I'll even give you the pics to post on any site you wish and say whatever you want, you have my permission........but since that won't happen simply because I see the guy who won the show for the last two years in the Masters and know him very well, I know EXACTLY what I'm up against and let me tell you junour....I'm not too worried. The open might be another story since I'm going against guys 20 years younger, but at the same time, the guy who won the Masters also took third in the open Lt. Hvy's, that being said, I have a shot at winning the open Lt.Hvy's as well. You can see this guy just go to graphicmuscle.com go to contests, then NPC results then click on "2006 Excaliber" then go to the masters and see the winner.

Pwned.  Coach get off Getbig and get back on your diet.  Disgusted, you better talk to your boy because there's no way in hell he's getting in shape right now raising all this hell with everyone on here that will oblige him.  Seriously man, if you're at 4 weeks you better not have shit hanging off anywhere...

Hey man bodybuilding might have gotten shittier in the last 10 years but don't forget, 20 years ago, it was blowing the best of what you knew in your day out of the fucking water.  And those are the standards you will be held to if you're gonna compete again.  All your bitching and moaning on Getbig about it isn't gonna make up for a poor placing.
Title: Re: pm question answered

And you've been warned as to what guys are running these days too so your "therapeutic doses" shit isn't gonna be admissible as an excuse for any of us either.  You don't take a knife to a gun fight.   ;D

LOL Scoff at gh15's advice if you want to, but I'm thinkin' if you're gonna make a point on any NPC stage any time soon, you'd better grip up and at least try to meet the man somewhere in the middle...   ;D

At 6 weeks you need a fully striated chest.  Just so you know.    ;D

It's the truth, face it.  Plus, you never say going into a show that "I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT I'M UP AGAINST, AND I'M NOT WORRIED IN THE LEAST."  WTF is that shit.

What were you thinking, 4?

No I was thinking that no one really needs striations these days to win a show.  :'( ;D Actually it depends on the person. At this rate and going by what Joe looked like in the past I am guessing his chest will start to striate at about the 4 week mark. My main concern is to get his skin very thin at 3 weeks. He is on track as of now. Like he said, those other pics were 12 weeks out.

Jeff, you read too much into what is posted on this board. Let's not give this place too much credit. It's just a place where everyone talks shit and has fun. Nothing more, at least for me it ain't. Like I said before, Getbig is the class clown of BB boards.  ;D

Alright, well dude, seriously, I really wanna see you get off the boards no later than 6 weeks out.  It just has to be done, IMO, and I wanna see you do well.

Jim the trick is to tell him his chest should be fully striated at 6 weeks out so that he'll actually GET IT striated by 4.  If you tell him 4 he'll have them in at 2 and still have lats and glutes to go.  That shit needs to be coming in at 2.  True story.

I'm sorry, why is it I have to be off the boards at 6 weeks? I didn't quite get that. Also, do you really guage conditioning on striated glutes? How many "striated" glutes have you seen and still have soft backs? Damn near everyone!!

Also, you're judging by pics taken in my kitchen with a shitty camera and lighting (not that it matters)....wow Jeff..again, i thought you were smarter than that!

I honestly am basing none of this on your pictures.  I didn't even look hard at the ones Bast posted and I'm not really trying to critique the ones you just did.  I just see the REALLY BIG picture and right now you are not on track to win shit from where you're coming from.  I'm just saying.  I guess you figure that if you just beat the one old guy that "you are not worried about" that you will have done your part.  Well if that means knocking every awesome pro that came along after 1982, well then I might have to take personal offense to that and be inclined to try to steer you back on track.   ;D

He told you the same thing, didn't he?  Shawn, that's my boy, just for that I owe you a tribute thread.  I'm gonna school Coach on the definition of bodybuilding with it too.  8)

It's up to you, the more the marrier. But trust me, I'm a realist and know what I'm capable of, if I thought for one second I'd make an ass of myself, I wouldn't do it, I'm not an idiot and into public humiliation. There's going to be too many people there that I know, so you can bet I won't make an ass of myself and trust me...I'm waay on target right now!

If you looked at some of the past recent threads, the Old dogs were better than the new ones.....we know how to train and diet hard and not rely on chems.

Man the sad part is that I could be anybody on this site and you'd be going round and round with me right now.  That's the thing, man, you're letting ANYBODY get your goat these days.  They're owning the shit out of you on a daily basis.  See you don't see it now, but that's what I'm trying to tell you.  You might not get a chance to make too many more good runs so I wanna see you make the most of this one, see...   ;D

I realize it's all in fun Jeff thats why I don't get too bent anymore and basically go along with it...it motivates me. I've never competed with anything less than winning, at 45, I'm not going through all this prep at my age to lose, some guys my age might be doing for fun, but I know what goes into it and it ain't fun and I don't take it lightly.......after 17 years of not competing and being in the industry since I was 12....lets just say I've got some unfinished business to take care of.

I have what I feel one of the best prep guys around and since he's on the east coast, and I have Rory Liedelmyer as my critic out here, I'm very confident, more so than when I was 25!

That's great man, that's the spirit.

Jim drop this guys' carbs by 25 grams across the board, and give him one more consecutive low day right this very week.
