Hatton, Ive watched his last 20 or so fights, I realise Im in the minority but I think Hatton will Knock him out.

depends who refs the fight and what they allow, if Hattons allowed to continually hold and hit and just wrestle like he did versus Tszyu he will win as it doesnt matter how good Mayweather is as Ricky just wrestles the life out of you, if the ref keeps breaking them and giving Mayweather the space his style needs its going to be a long night for Ricky, as he wont win a round.
In a wrestle Ricky wins by knockout, body punch again , Floyds bit soft to the midsection as we saw in his first fight with Castillo,.

He'll run, bob and weave but he is a great Defensive Fighter which will give him the edge.
Hatton likes to Bang but he will spend the night chasing a Ghost, Mayweather is quick and nimble enought to avoid a "Fight" but land counter punches while back peddling.
I hate that style but it's Boxing which is why I'm now a fan of MMA.

Agree, he is too fast and has lots of technical skills which many lack in the boxing game today. He will let him tire himeself out but if he gets the chance will rock him. I just see Hatton having a hard time nailing the money maker shot.

The lighter weights still have potential and exciting guys, IMO the heavyweights are just not "muscular" enough these days. Seems most the truely dedicated fighters go to MMA now, it's a shame.

Mayweather is a freakin joke. He runs, and "defensively" boxes, like Hopkins. They are both idiots, we can all run away and throw a few punches, but true fighters fight!!! Ali and Leonard both did the same shit! They could come out, and not throw a punch, and win a round. Fighters like Marvin Hagler are what we all wanna see!!!

About six months ago I would have said Mayweather. Now I'm not so sure. Hatton is hungrier for it and always performs against the big names. No-one said he would beat Tsyzu and he did. Floyd will be softened up by dancing with the stars and Hatton will bully him around the ring come December.
My prediction - Hatton on points.

I watched hatton beat the mighty Kostya Tszyu (albeit an older Kosta), it was one of the greatest fights I have ever seen. I rate Ricky highly and admire his discipline and humble attitude, and I think his no nonsense tough style will dominate the arrogant Mayweather and Hatton will knock Mayweather out in the tenth round.

When was the last time you saw an ear bitten off in other martial arts competition, boxing has it all. Personalities, drama, suspense, Psychological mind games, big money and the occasional coma and death, what more could you ask for.

hatton absolutely needs to get very dirty (low blows, headbutt, elbows, hitting on the break, etc, etc, etc) and he happens to be very good at just that. fighting is as much a psychological game as it is physical and pbf is an egomaniac. to upest the egomaniac and destroy him you've got to take him out of his comfort zone, because if pbf gets any room whatsoever he's going to look very good dancing a jig on ricky's head.
ricky's got to go after him, cut off the ring and do what he has to do (see above). if he doesn't he loses, that simple.

if pbf had zero pop to go with his speed/ boxing skills i'd be inclined to agree but, in any possible scenario, hatton's not going to walk through him. no way in hell he can do that. pbf will give the man angles. he'll walk straight into a combo and then he'll say, 'where'd he go?' before being surrounded by another combo.

What part is nonsense ???. I think most people who saw both fight would agree, the HBO panel disagree with both decisions and the crowd booed both decision. I'm a huge Mayweather fan, but if someone got their ass whipped they got their as whipped.

NO. The only thing he was forced to do is box instead of wrestle. The 1st boxing match he ever had and he lost. If the fight was in London he'd have a chance, the ref's in his hometown are afraid to deduct points from all his wrestling moves. he didn't outbox Ksosta zu (sp) he out wrestled him, if they had a good referee he'd have been DQed. If the fight's on the outside he's gonna get destroyed, if the fights inside hes gonna get destroyed, mayweather is a great infighter.
