Of all of my travels, only here in the US do the people here have a fetish-like obession with race and categorizing people in order to divide up society and make as many victims as possible.

Yes, the verdict was not right. The DIs should have received some sort of punishment....however, the discussion of race almost always turns the issue away at hand and ends up in emotional finger pointing. When will this shit stop?

The media constantly plays the race card, but no one in this thread mentioned race. I'm bothered by the fact they beat the crap out of this kid, on tape, and got off, after a 90-minute jury deliberation.

That said, no denying we still have race issues in this country.
