Which thread of yours did they move?
I made the same comment about the link when 240 was having issues with being bullied. One of my threads was moved today but a link was provided.

Some of her threads are good, we all start bad threads sometimes. I can remember opening the General board and seeing 6 or 7 threads of yours in a row. It was like you went on a thread starting bender.

How difficult is it to put a link? The option is there automatically. It's just plain lazy & inconsiderate imo.

The general thrust of the post (pun intended) was about hypocrisy of authority figures, ...not religion,

BB, what rule did she break that warranted the major move of deleting/moving a thread? We have a small number of members here. Removing a thread by one of them is a pretty big move.

Are you freakin kidding me?? Look, I merge threads every week on this board and move threads on occasion when they have absolutely nothing to do with politics.
For example, I merged two last night, both of them duplicate threads, one involving a general criticizing Iraq and another involving Gore winning the Nobel prize. I consider it a general clean up. Do it all the time.
Regarding the story about the pastor dying with the dildo up his butt, I couldn't give a rat's butt (so to speak) whether you want to keep on the Politics board. The story has nothing to do with politics. But if it's that important to you, either ask Stella to move it back from the Religion board or post it again, assuming Berserker or Ozmo believe it has some political angle (I don't).

...and as a matter of fact, ...it WAS difficult to find. It's only at the top of the board right now because my comment bumped it, but there has been a lot of discussion on the Religion board. All we're asking is the courtesy of a link when a topic is moved. It's not a federal case, no need to make it one, ...just a little moderator courtesy that every other mod on GetBig is able to muster.

It's common practice to leave a link when a thread is moved. You can dismiss it all you want but you only look like you're making excuses when you do. This is a board full of adults, we don't spam (except for Jag) and we don't overly flame. If you're going to move a thread at least leave a link, I said the same thing when 240 was getting bullied.

guys, there is actually very little deleting or moving in political. We set it up to be that way and from what I can see it's still that way and that's the way I want it to be. The other major forums on getbig do way more merging, deleting and moving by far.

Is there any reason you're not addressing what I told you? Whether you like it or not and no matter the motive, it's a valid move. You can so easily remedy this with what I told you. It's so easy. Go to the thread, modify your original post adding the political angle. Ask Stella to move your thread back and I bet you won't have a problem for one single second. Had the political angle been posted, I would be siding against BB right now.

I'm trying to get the fundy Christians to say he's till going to heaven.....becuase he is ::).....it's not a dead on that board, the resident athiests coalition representatives will be all over it like hair on a gorilla soon.

You know I respect your opinion so I'll let it go. Although I find it telling that neither Berserker or yourself either moved the thread or would have moved the thread. This board has always been well behaved and not overly modded, hopefully it will stay that way.

It's not a new agenda, I still think over policing kills the forum and should be kept to a min and just last week you saw me side on that matter. Please keep in mind that there is more to making a political point than just appeasing BB or me. It's also for the benefit/respect of the other forums like religious. If we did not ask this of the people posting here, our mods would have no grounds in asking that political threads be moved here. As a general rule of thumb, it would not hurt to post political angles when part of the topic has to do with another forum created for that area. Such as a movie. If I just up and post about V for Vendetta and said what a great movie and assumed people know why I think so, that's not fair to the Entertainment board. So If I posted about V I would point out why or make some point that makes the posting in political obvious.
