My favorite movie of all time is The Wild Geese, so thats my top military movie as well. Others:

Where Eagles Dare
Cross of Iron
Bridge to Far
Zulu

The list is endless. I don't think commando counts.

Haha...yeah my ex-wife used to say the same thing when I'd watch this stuff. I love those movies....very politically incorrect by today's standards. They are remaking Wild Geese. My list would have included alot more crap u'd be making fun of me for but i figured I'd stop.

Agreed on We Were Soldiers.  I'll throw a votes in for Blackhawk Down and The Green Berets too!  Almost any John Wayne war movie would qualify.

Ha I guess u can outfit me an Orzmo for wheelchairs. I always watch Battle of The Bulge when its on although its semi ridiculous. Any movie with Robert Shaw as a nazi u gotta love. I'd recommend Cross of Iron and The Beast as well.

Very surprised nobody mentioned Saving Private Ryan.

Not bad and yeah it is. They had Navy Seals helping on that. They're supposed to be remaking the Dirty Dozen

that's a mini-series and in my opinion is the best ever

The scene with the German general releasing his troops and giving that speech at the end when he mirrors the struggles of E company was brilliant and the best scene to ever be broadcast on TV

Battle of the bulge is silly, but entertaining to a 12 year old which was when i first watched it i think.

I forgot "Patton" and yes Tears of the sun was great too.

I saw Cross of Iron only once when i was very young, I need to watch it and i'll check out the beast too.

first half of Full metal jacket and blackhawk down are personal favs. I have met Ermey and most of the blackhawk down guys so I might be a tad partial.
