demayo from the 93 USA's, not as big as he was when he won his pro show but that body right there would crush almost eveeryone today and he "blew it" at that show....man this "sport" has gone waaay downhill.

Matarazzo is skinny right now, there was an article in Flex about him awhile back, they showed a pic of him, his wife and kid. He still works out, but light weight and lot of cardio, still looks good!

unfortunately mike had heart surgery over a year ago he keeps himself healthy by running and lifting for general fitness he lives here in modesto and works at AJ'S bail bonds just had his second child. He misses hard core competition he is a warrior and a competitor at heart and Yes that meant sometimes he was a DICK!

I'm going to cut right to it. Here's EXACTLY, word for word, what it takes for anyone to turn pro:
1. Genetics
2. Busting your ass in the gym
3. Knowing how to eat alot of good food
4. Knowing what it means to "rest"
5. 12-15 YEARS of being consistant, and never missing a scheduled workout (*note: you are allowed to miss 2-3 workouts in that 12-15 years for funerals, family tragedy, etc.)
NOW.. here's how 1-5 plays out: Your GENETICS, you are born with, and can do nothing about. Numbers 2,3,4, I could teach a retarded monkey with a brain amputation.
And #5.. is why 99.99999% of the people fail.. and fall dead on their ass.
Notice is doesn't say "gear" or "steroids" in there at all. If you are one of those people that walks around saying "he's just big because he's on tons of shit!", then you will NEVER make it. NEVER!!

My favorite bodybuilder after arnold, he was damn overlooked, this phisique is better then cutler's, no real weakpoints, massive legs and arms. Flawless phisique if you ask me. In bodybuilding criteria he had a weak back, but who makes those calls? not me, its ebtter having legs and arms instead of back.Just check this out

I dont agree on the GEAR part. I think if your on gear, the 5 steps will be much easier to take and to be consistant. When you spent a lot of cash on gear you will get motivated to the fullest to eat ad train right all the time. If your a natural you dont give a shit if you dont train for days. You did some cycles, doesnt gear effect your mental state, hormones and motivation for bb?

mike lives like 10 mins away from me. hes came into my gym a few times. i was never there though. i am supposed to be getting hired as the front desk clerk at the golds gym he works out at though. that would be awesome.

absolutley peeled arms and legs for 91 usa win ,never achieved that freaky hard look again 97 close but he was much bigger,he weighed 228 for usa win unreal....beat wheeler and a weight class winner with much hype beau matlock who was very good for the overall...

That's why they are Pros who compete in the IFBB - you can't get to that level by playing it safe aka less than 100% dedication

Sorry Mike, but turning pro has everything to do with gear. Great genetics combined with the right chemcials is 100% responsible for both physical and mental bb success...training, cardio, diet and rest go without saying (although without gear there would be no extraordinary results). Without the quick consistent results produced by bb chemicals there would be no motivation for any current pro/nationally ranked bb to continue training as hard as they do. Without the use of and total dependence on chemicals there would be no huge, conditioned bbs....there would still be big guys, but no huge, ripped bbs.
I say we just call it what it really and is and leave it at that....no need to hide reality. Let's watch how big these guys can get on the sauce and enjoy the bb shows.
