tommi is a strong guy. but as i mentioned in another thread he is a huge ego lifter.......
that set wasnt bodybuilding.

What exactly do we call parallel now then?? To me his thighs were parallel with the floor, yet its 'half squats' ??? Supposedly safe squatting is goin parallel is it not?? Im not knocking anybodies views, im just curious as to why people say its not a full squat :)

Watching that clip makes you realize just how strong Ronnie was...doing the exact same weight for 8 easy reps...FREE BAR!!! :o

no he didn't, Ronnie squatted 585 for 8 on COR.

yes i do, why do you call them "good mornings"? his back was totally straight and he was leaning back against the bar, his back was starighter than Ronnie's when he free bar squatted 585 and Tommi's depth was only an inch or two shorter than Ronnie's in his video.

I don't get why this is getting shit, yes it's in a Smith but it's a shitload of weight either way, and he went relatively deep

I agree, the form on those squats wasn't too bad, he basically got parallel, but he needed some help from the spotter.

exactly, for 7 plates per side the form wasn't that bad at all.

Not terrible. I say that equals 525 X 6 regular squat. Dude's strong, as he should be, he's a professional bodybuilder.
