Would you get to go to afterparties and hang out with the "girls"?

it would be boring as hell, like in real life.

How would it play - would you start off as a 15 year old pasty white geek and have to work up to Olympian standard by going to the gym and shaking the joypad from side to side really fast to "lift" the weights to make you stimulate muscle growth?

And by doing that would you also earn "bonus points" which could translate into money to buy "gear" from a shady guy in the corner of the gym?

I'd buy it.

and that you have to earn money to wrestle with skinny old guys.

Hmm..come to think of it if EA sports did it they would bring out a new but disappointing "updated" version every year which looks almost identical to last years edition just to make a fast buck.

Bit like Shawn's Olympia appearances then.  :P

seriously...i think it would be a 3 way toss up:

1) watching paint dry
2) watching grass grow
3) playing a "bodybuilding" video game

You forgot, "Ditch Digging Extreme".  That's a sure winner on the Gamestop shelves..haha
Then again, they do have a fishing game.

Come to think of it there was a wrestling video game for the Nintendo a few years back which used the facial likenesses of Dorain Yates, Sonny Schmidt, and a few others I can't remember. It was exposed in Musclemag I think. They didn't use their real names but I wonder if the IFBB knew about it.

I think it could work.

It would be like GTA, where you go work out, sell drugs, commit crimes, beat your wife/gf, fuck chicks, get busted by the po po's, do gay-4-pay, et cetera.

I think slinging steroids, guaging your insulin intake, and g4p would be awesome selling points on this video game.
"Congratulations, you just did private posing for a Shiek.  $1000!  Would you like to invest this money in GH or steroids?"
Pro bodybuilding, more entertaining than Oprah.

Also allow you to kill someone and try to incinerate them in the trunk of a car.

okay, it would be cool IF=
-the graphics were ultra detailed while in the gym, and you really worked out. like every rep, every set, every bodypart. but to lift couldnt be something lame like "tap x for bicep contraction), it would need to be something to do with timing or speed or rythem between two buttons.
-you earned money at first just by like robbinig people and shit..this is how you could buy food and supplements. you actually buy supplements, cook food, and administor injections(once you get far enough, built enough, and have enough money to afford the steroids); maybe in fact you have to place in a "natural" show before you can unlock STEROIDS,..like upon recieving your medal they show a short clip of some mafia looking guido buff guy walking you over to the trunk of his car and showing you his stash and saying "its time to move up to the big time, little fella"..soemthing like that.  maybe you could sell steroids at first to get your moneys up.
-you progress in the game by doing shows and wining competitions. you can do good by getting endorsed by supplment companies and by getting cover shoots. starting out with small companies..then working your way to the top. im sure the top honor would be a muscletech sponsorship...they would probably be the ones making the game anyways. "muscletech= Olympia bound" or something like that as a title..
- of course...you would get to have very detailed sex with fitness sluts.

..........lol.........
just soem ideas. im bored.

How would that make you less of a man?  Im just wondering how you hooked up with a girl from europe and didnt just say, "hey, this is about as unpractical as it gets"  Especially considering how much you talk about how easy it is for you to get chicks.   Did she pay for your trip?

He offered to pay for your flight to work out with him b/c you talked so much shit.  He said that he wouldn't hurt you, he just wanted you to "man up".  Everyone on the boards told you to do it.....and then you stopped posting for 2-3 days.

Brutal attempt at trying to recreate history.  You're just a very sad old man.

You didn't accept. You know what, I bet someone on here knows Matt Duvall. If you want to "man up" I bet he would still work out with you.

However, here's a prediction:  Someone gets a hold of Matt.  He makes the offer for a second time.  You don't log on under Squadfather for a few days.  Then about a year later you tell everyone that you accpeted and he backed down.  Then you post a thread about cheap ribs, and you'll be 38 instead of 37.
