In bodybuilding, 'site injection' means injecting something into a muscle for the specific purpose of causing inflammation. regular steroids don't cause inflammation. the most common steroid used for that is Esiclene (http://www.steroids-pharma.com/product.php?pid=69). Esiclene is not a very good steroid for building muscle, but very good at causing temporary inflammation of existing muscle. But the key word is temporary. If you stop, the inflammation goes away.
while way too many top bodybuilders do some site injections right before a contest, Brad takes it to an extreme.
